Product Overview
The Retekess TD183 is a wireless paging system designed for efficient communication in various service environments. It includes a keypad transmitter and pagers.

Operating Instructions
Power On
Charge the pagers for at least 10 minutes before use. Connect the power supply to the keypad transmitter; the display will light up. Place the pagers on the charging base; the indicator light will turn on.
Charging Indicator Status:
- Flashes: Charging
- Always On: Full Charged
Call Pager Operation
The default mode is Call mode (C--- displayed). To return to Call mode, continuously press the Delete button (←) until C--- appears. In Call mode, enter the pager number using the keypad and press the Call button. The pager will beep or vibrate.
Prompt Mode Setting
To set all charging pagers to Mute mode (vibrate and flash only), press the Mute button, enter 999, and press Call. To return to normal mode (beep, vibrate, and flash), press the Mute button, enter 000, and press Call.
Keypad Notice Mode Setting
To set the keypad to Mute mode, press the Mute button, enter 998, and press Call. To set the keypad to Tone mode, press the Mute button, enter 997, and press Call.
Call History
Press the H button to view the last calling number. Use the Up/Down buttons (△/▽) to check the last 10 calling records. Press Call to redial a number from the history.
Power Off
In Call mode, enter 999 and press Call to power off all charging pagers. Disconnect the charger from the power source to power off the keypad. Note: This instruction is invalid for pagers not charging or paired with the keypad.
Pager ID Setting
Pagers are pre-paired. This is only needed for adding new pagers or changing IDs. Place all pagers on the charging base and connect power. Within 20 seconds, press P, enter 999, and press Call to enter ID pairing mode. All pager IDs will flash. Enter the desired ID number and press Call. Remove the top pager; it will beep to confirm successful ID setting. Repeat for other pagers. Note: The system exits pairing mode after 1 minute of inactivity. Each pager can only have one ID.

RF Exposure Information
DO NOT operate the radio without a proper antenna. Doing so may damage the radio and exceed RF exposure compliance requirements. Use only the manufacturer-supplied or authorized antenna. Do not transmit for more than 50% of total radio use time. Avoid transmitting in areas with posted signs to do so. Keep the device 5 mm from your body. Avoid body-worn accessories containing metallic components. Do not operate the transmitter in areas sensitive to electromagnetic radiation (e.g., hospitals, aircraft).

Protect Your Hearing
Use the lowest necessary volume. Turn up volume only in noisy surroundings. Turn down volume before using headsets. Limit time with high-volume headsets. Do not place the speaker directly against your ear. Excessive sound pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss.
Note: Prolonged exposure to loud noise can affect hearing. The louder the volume, the less time is needed before hearing may be affected.
Avoid Burns
Do not use a portable radio with a damaged antenna. Contact with a damaged antenna may cause minor burns.
Batteries
Avoid short-circuiting batteries by keeping them away from conductive materials like jewelry or keys. Handle batteries with care.
Long Transmission
The radiator and chassis may become hot during long transmissions.
Safety Operation - Prohibitions
- Do not use the charger outdoors or in moist environments.
- Do not disassemble the charger.
- Do not operate a damaged charger.
- Do not place the radio in an airbag deployment area.
Safety Operation - To Reduce Risk
- Pull by the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting the charger.
- Unplug the charger before maintenance or cleaning.
- Contact Retekess for repair assistance.
- The adapter should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
- Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries properly.
- The plug is the disconnect device for the adapter.
- Do not exceed the specified operating temperature range.
