Retekess TD158 Queue Wireless Calling System User Manual
Product Introduction
Thank you for using the Retekess Paging System. The TD158 guest paging system utilizes RF wireless technology and includes one keyboard transmitter and ten coaster pagers. Each transmitter can be paired with up to 999 coaster pagers. This system is widely used in fast food restaurants, coffee houses, pizza shops, 4S stores, churches, and other venues where guests frequently wait for service. The system enhances overall efficiency, service level, reduces labor costs, and improves the establishment's image.
How to Use the Paging System?
- Guests place an order and receive a numbered coaster pager (No. 1-999) from the waiter.
- When the order is ready, the waiter presses the corresponding pager number on the transmitter. The guest's coaster pager will vibrate, flash an LED, or beep to notify them that their order is ready, prompting them to return to the counter.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On
Connect the power supply to the keyboard transmitter; the power indicator will illuminate, and the screen will display three numbers. Place the pagers on the charging base and connect the power source. While charging, the pager's green light will flash. Once fully charged, the green light remains constantly on. A red light flashes if the pager is not charging. The display will show "Lo" on the digital tube for pagers with a low battery (this feature is available on models with a digital tube). Pagers can be powered on by placing them back on the charging base connected to power.
2. Power Off
To turn off all pagers in the charging base, place them on the base, press "0", and then press the CALL button. All pagers on the base will enter charging mode (no number displayed on the digital tube, only the green light is on). Then, disconnect the charging base. Avoid leaving pagers to charge or in standby mode for extended periods when not in use, as this can reduce battery performance.
3. Settings
Press the SETTING button to enter the setting mode. Use the "+/-" buttons to select the function to change, and press "√" to confirm.
- "F1": Set Keyboard Transmitter ID. Set the ID from 1 to 999 by entering the number via the keyboard and pressing "√". This is useful when using multiple keyboard transmitters with the same pagers or to avoid interference. Note: Do not change the ID unless necessary, as all pagers will need to be re-paired after changing the ID.
- "F2": Pairing. Set the coaster pager ID. Enter the desired number (1-999) via the keyboard, pick up the pager from the charging base, and press "√" within 3 seconds. The pager will beep and flash upon successful setting.
- "F3": Set Pager Reminder Time. Enter the reminder time (1-200 seconds) via the keypad, pick up the pager from the charging base, and press "√" within 3 seconds. The pager will beep and flash upon successful setting. Setting the reminder time to 0s will cause the pager to alarm continuously. The default setting is 30 seconds.
- "F4": Set Beep Mode. Enter 0, 1, 2, or 3 via the keypad, pick up the pager from the charging base, and press "√" within 3 seconds. The pager will beep and flash upon successful setting. If the reminder time is set to 0s, the pager will alarm continuously.
- 0: Beep close mode
- 1: Slow mode
- 2: Medium-speed mode
- 3: Fast mode
- "F5": Set Vibration Mode. Enter 0 or 1 via the keypad, pick up the pager from the charging base, and press "√" within 3 seconds. The pager will beep and flash upon successful setting.
- 0: Vibration close mode
- 1: Vibration on mode
NOTE: When performing settings, all pagers must be on the charging base and connected to power. After completing all settings, press the back button to exit.
4. Call Function
Input the desired pager number and press CALL on the keypad. The corresponding pager will alarm. The default reminder mode is Vibration + Beep + Flash. The pager will stop reminding when returned to the charging base or when the set reminder time expires. If incorrect numbers are entered, press the back button to delete and re-enter the correct number.

Protect your hearing:
- Use the lowest volume necessary.
- Increase volume only in noisy surroundings.
- Turn down volume before adding headset/earpiece.
- Limit time using headsets/earpieces at high volume.
- Do not place the radio's speaker directly against your ear when not using a headset/earpiece.
- Be cautious with earphones; excessive sound pressure can cause hearing loss.
Note: Prolonged exposure to loud noises can temporarily or permanently affect hearing. The louder the volume, the less time is needed before hearing is affected. Hearing damage from loud noise may not be immediately detectable and can have a cumulative effect.
Avoid Burns
- Antennas: Do not use a damaged antenna. Contact with a damaged antenna during use can cause minor burns.
- Batteries: Avoid conductive materials (jewelry, keys, chains) touching exposed battery terminals, as this can cause short circuits, heat, and burns. Handle batteries with care, especially when placing them in pockets or containers with metal objects.
- Long transmission: The radiator and chassis may become hot during long transmissions.
