The HDMI Wireless Extender 4K60Hz - 50m transmits HDMI signals wirelessly up to 164ft (50 m) at 4K@60Hz resolution. It requires no cables between the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX), making the installation easy and clean. It is suitable for homes and offices.

Installation Requirements

1. HDMI source device (e.g., DVD player, set top box, PC).
2. HDMI display device (e.g., SDTV/Monitor, HDTV/Monitor, projector).
3. HDMI cables (not included).

Product Layout - Transmitter (TX)

Figure 1 shows the layout of the Transmitter (TX) unit.

1. Power LED: On when the transmitter is powered on.

2. WiFi LED:

• Slow flash: Waiting for connection.
• Solid on: Connection successful.
• Quick flash: Pairing mode.

3. Signal LED:

• Light off: No HDMI signal.
• Solid on: HDMI signal transmitting.
• Quick flash: Restore factory settings.

4. Channel Switching Button:

• Quick press: Switch WiFi channels.
• Press and hold for 5 seconds: Enter channel pairing mode.
• Press and hold for 10 seconds: Restore to factory default settings.

5. Antenna Connector: Connect to the included antennas.

6. Micro USB Port: Used for firmware update.

7. HDMI In: Connect to your HDMI source using an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).

8. HDMI Out: Connect to your HDMI display using an HDMI cable for local monitoring of the remote display device (HDMI cable not included).

9. IR Out: Connect to the included IR blaster cable.

10. Power Jack: Connect to the included power adapter.

Product Layout - Receiver (RX)

Figure 2 shows the layout of the Receiver (RX) unit.

1. Power LED: On when the receiver is powered on.

Hardware Installation

1. Power off all devices including your HDMI source and HDMI display.
2. Install the included antennas to the TX and RX.
3. Pair the TX and RX. See SSID Channel Pairing on page 9.
4. Connect your HDMI source device to the Transmitter's HDMI In connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
5. Optional: Connect your HDMI display to the Transmitter's HDMI Out connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included). This connection is needed only if you need to monitor the remote display device from the source device location.
6. Optional: Connect the IR blaster cable to the Transmitter's IR interface port. Face the eye towards your HDMI source device's IR window. This connection is needed only if you need to control your HDMI source from the remote display location.
7. Connect your HDMI display to the Receiver's HDMI Out connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
8. Optional: Connect the IR receiver cable to the Receiver's IR interface port. This connection is needed only if you need to control your HDMI source from the remote display location.
9. Plug the included power adapters into the Transmitter's and Receiver's Power Jacks, then plug both power adapters into reliable power outlets.
10. Power on your HDMI source device and HDMI display. The wireless extender is ready for use.

Channel Switching

If you find that the extender does not provide adequate or desired results, switching channels may help resolve the issue. Follow the steps below to switch to the best wireless frequency.

1. Press the channel switching button on either the transmitter unit or receiver unit.
2. The transmitter and receiver will automatically switch to the next best channel.

SSID Channel Pairing

When there are multiple wireless extender kits operating in close proximity, having the same SSID on each kit may cause interference or conflicts. It is suggested to change the SSID on one kit to help resolve the issue. Follow the SSID channel pairing steps below.

1. Press and hold down both transmitter's and receiver's channel switching button simultaneously for 5 seconds. The WiFi LEDs will flash quickly.
2. When pairing is successful, the WiFi LEDs will change to solid on.
3. Power off the TX and RX after pairing.

Factory Reset

1. Press and hold down both transmitter's and receiver's channel switching button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The WiFi LEDs will flash quickly.
2. The WiFi LEDs will change to solid on when factory reset is successful.
3. Power off the TX and RX after factory reset.

Connection Diagram

The diagram illustrates a typical one-to-one connection setup for the wireless extender.

Setup Description:

• A Video Source (e.g., PC, DVD player) connects via HDMI to the Transmitter (TX) unit's "HDMI In" port.
• The Transmitter (TX) unit wirelessly sends the HDMI signal.
• The Receiver (RX) unit receives the wireless signal.
• The Receiver (RX) unit connects via HDMI from its "HDMI Out" port to an HDMI Display.
• Optional IR Control: An IR Blaster cable connects to the TX unit's "IR Out" port and should be aimed at the IR window of the HDMI source device to allow control from the remote location. An IR Receiver cable connects to the RX unit's "IR In" port and should be aimed at the display device or user to receive commands.

Notice

• Wireless signals transmitted through walls, glass, brick, or other solid objects will cause signal loss and decrease the transmission distance.
• External wireless signals from microwaves, wireless mice, and wireless keyboards can interfere with HDMI signal transmission.
• Keep the unit in a well-ventilated environment to prevent overheating.
• DO NOT expose the unit to rain, moisture, or liquids.
• DO NOT place anything on the unit.
• DO NOT open the housing, as doing so will void the warranty and may cause personal injury due to electronic hazard.
• DO NOT plug-in or remove the IR cables when the device is powered on.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Q: The WiFi LED is on, but no video output on the remote display.

1. Check that the HDMI source device is powered on.
2. Check that the transmitter's and receiver's Signal LED is solid on.
3. Check the HDMI cables for a solid connection. Use different HDMI cables if necessary.
4. Press and hold down the channel switching button for 5 seconds on both the TX and RX to refresh the wireless signal. Refer to Channel Switching instructions.
5. Connect the HDMI source device directly to the display to verify if there is a signal.

Q: Poor video quality.

1. Check that the HDMI cables are connected properly. Use different HDMI cables if necessary.
2. Change the angle of the antennas on the transmitter and receiver units. Generally, the antennas should be positioned as far apart as possible.
3. Adjust the position of the transmitter and receiver units, and ensure they are within the required signal range.
4. Remove other wireless signals and move any obstacles that are blocking the signal line-of-sight.
5. Decrease the distance between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit.
6. Press and hold down the channel switching button for 5 seconds on both the TX and RX to refresh the wireless signal. Refer to Channel Switching instructions.
