1. Package Contents
The package typically includes:
- Camera (x1)
- Waterproof Kit (x1)
- Power Adapter (x1)

Note: The appearance of the power adapter may vary depending on the model purchased.
2. Basics
The camera features include:
- Micro SD Card Slot
- RESET Button (Behind the cover)
- Antenna
- MIC
- Ethernet Port
- Power Port
- Adjusting Screw
The camera also has a Spotlight, Lens, IR Light, and LED Indicator.
LED Indicator Status:
- Solid Red: Camera starting up.
- Slow-flashing Red: Network exception.
- Fast-flashing Red: Camera exception (e.g., Micro SD card error).
- Solid Blue: App visiting camera.
- Slow-flashing Blue: Camera running properly.
- Fast-flashing Blue: Camera ready for Wi-Fi connection.
Get the EZVIZ App
- Connect your mobile phone to Wi-Fi.
- Download and install the EZVIZ app by searching for “EZVIZ” in the App Store or Google Play™.
- Launch the app and register an EZVIZ user account.
Note: Ensure you have the latest version of the app.
Connect to the Internet
Option A: Wired Connection
- Connect the power adapter cable to the camera's power port.
- Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
- Connect the camera to the LAN port of your router with an Ethernet cable (sold separately).
- Add your camera to EZVIZ: Log in to your account using the EZVIZ app, tap “+” on the Home screen to go to the Scan QR Code interface, and scan the QR code on the Quick Start Guide or the camera body. Follow the EZVIZ app wizard to add the camera.
Note: The LED turning fast-flashing blue indicates the camera is powered on and ready for network configuration. The LED turning slow-flashing blue indicates the camera is connected to the Internet.
Option B: Wireless Connection
- Connect the power adapter cable to the camera's power port.
- Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
- Add camera to EZVIZ: Log in to your EZVIZ app, tap “+” on the Home screen to go to the Scan QR Code interface, and scan the QR code on the Quick Start Guide or the camera body. Follow the EZVIZ app wizard to add the camera.
Notes:
- Connect your camera to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile phone.
- The Wi-Fi band must be 2.4 GHz.
- To reset the camera and restore default settings, press and hold the reset button for about 4 seconds. This is useful if the camera fails to connect to Wi-Fi or if you want to connect to a different Wi-Fi network.
Installation
1. Micro SD Card Installation (Optional)
- Remove the cover on the camera.
- Insert the micro SD card (sold separately) into the card slot.
- Place the cover back on.
After installing the micro SD card, initialize it in the EZVIZ app via Device Settings > Storage Status. If the status is 'Uninitialized', tap to initialize. The status will then change to 'Normal' for video storage.
2. Installation Location
- Choose a location with a clear, unblocked field of view and a good wireless signal.
- Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the camera's weight (at least three times its weight).
- Avoid installing the camera where the lens faces direct sunlight.
3. Installation Procedure
- Remove the protective film from the lens.
- Stick the drilling template onto a clean and flat surface.
- For cement walls, drill screw holes according to the template and insert anchors.
- Use screws to fix the camera on the installation surface.
- Loosen the adjusting screw.
- Rotate the upper part of the camera to achieve the desired detection angle (0-90° vertically, 0-360° horizontally).
- Tighten the adjusting screw again.
Operations on the EZVIZ App
1. Live View
Launch the EZVIZ app and tap Live View to see a live feed, listen to audio, take snapshots, record videos, and select video definition (Ultra HD, Hi-Def, or Standard).
App Icons and Descriptions:
- Share ?️: Share your device.
- Settings ⚙️: View or change device settings.
- Snapshot ?: Take a snapshot.
- Record ?: Manually start/stop recording.
- Alarm ?: Deter intruders with flashing light.
- Definition ?: Select video resolution.
- Multi-screen Live ?: Select live view window layout.
2. Settings
The following parameters can be configured in the EZVIZ app:
- Audio: Enable/disable audio for real-time or recorded videos.
- Status Light: Enable/disable the camera's LED indicator.
- Alarm Notification: Enable/disable notifications for detected targets.
- Night Vision Mode:
- Color Night Vision: Provides color images in dark environments.
- Black/White Night Vision: Uses IR light for black and white images in dark environments.
- Smart Night Vision: Default is Black/White, switches to Color Night Vision upon motion detection.
- Time Zone: Select your time zone.
- Date Format: Select your preferred date format.
- Wi-Fi: Connect your device to a new Wi-Fi network.
- Cloud Storage: Subscribe to and manage cloud storage.
- Storage Status: View micro SD card capacity, used, and free space.
- Device Version: View the device's firmware version.
- Image Encryption: Enable to require a password for accessing captured images.
- Change Encryption Password: Change the encryption password.
- Flip Image: Flip the video feed.
- Sleep Mode: Enable to stop monitoring and recording.
- Offline Notification: Enable to receive notifications when the camera is offline.
- User Guide: Access the camera's user guide.
- About: View installation location, product category, model, serial number, and QR code.
- Restart: Restart the camera.
- Delete Device: Remove the camera from the EZVIZ cloud.
EZVIZ Connect
1. Use Amazon Alexa
To control EZVIZ devices with Amazon Alexa:
Before you start:
- Ensure EZVIZ devices are connected to the EZVIZ app.
- In the EZVIZ app, disable "Image Encryption" and ensure "Audio" is enabled in Device Settings.
- You need an Alexa-enabled device (e.g., Echo, Fire TV).
- The Amazon Alexa app must be installed on your smart device with an account created.
To Control EZVIZ devices with Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Alexa app, select "Skills and Games".
- Search for "EZVIZ" and select the "EZVIZ" skill.
- Tap "ENABLE TO USE".
- Enter your EZVIZ username and password, then tap "Sign in".
- Tap "Authorize" to allow Alexa to access your EZVIZ account.
- Tap "DISCOVER DEVICES" to allow Alexa to find your EZVIZ devices.
- Your EZVIZ devices will appear under "Devices" in the Alexa app menu.
Voice Command: Use commands like "show xxxx camera" (where xxxx is your camera's name, which can be changed in the EZVIZ app). You may need to re-discover devices after changing their names.
Troubleshooting:
- Alexa fails to discover device: Check internet connection, restart the smart device, and re-discover.
- Device status is "Offline" on Alexa: Check network connection, restart the smart device, and re-discover. Ensure your router is connected to the internet.

2. Use Google Assistant
To control EZVIZ devices with Google Assistant:
Required devices and apps:
- Functional EZVIZ app.
- In the EZVIZ app, disable "Image Encryption" and enable "Audio" in Device Settings.
- A TV with Chromecast.
- Google Assistant app on your phone.
Getting Started:
- Set up the EZVIZ device and ensure it works with the app.
- Download the Google Home app and log into your Google account.
- In the Google Home app, tap "+" and select "Set up device" > "Works with Google".
- Search for "EZVIZ" and select the "EZVIZ" skill.
- Enter your EZVIZ username and password, then tap "Sign in".
- Tap "Authorize" to allow Google to control your EZVIZ devices.
- Tap "Return to app".
- After synchronization, EZVIZ service will be listed under your services. Tap the EZVIZ service icon to see compatible devices.
- Use voice commands with your camera's name (e.g., "Hey Google, show my camera").
Devices can be managed individually or in groups. Adding devices to a room allows for group control.

FAQ
- Q: If the camera is offline on the App, will the video recording continue?
A: Local recording continues if the camera is powered on but disconnected from the internet. Cloud recording stops. If the camera is powered off, both stop. - Q: Why the alarm is triggered when nobody in the image?
A: Adjust the detection sensitivity to a lower value. Note that vehicles and animals can also trigger alarms. - Q: How to use the microSD card for local storage?
A: 1. Ensure a micro SD card is inserted and the camera is added to your EZVIZ account. Initialize the card in the EZVIZ app if prompted. 2. Micro SD card recording for motion detection is enabled by default. - Q: The mobile phone cannot receive alarm prompts when the camera is online.
A: 1. Ensure the EZVIZ app is running and Motion Detection Notification is enabled. 2. For Android, ensure the app runs in the background. For iOS, enable "Settings > Notification". 3. If prompts persist, reset the camera settings by holding the RESET button for 4 seconds. - Q: Live view or playback failed.
A: Ensure your network connection is stable and has sufficient bandwidth. Try refreshing the video, changing networks, or restarting the device.
