Auto-boiling
Automatically selects the ideal power to bring water to a boil and signals the boiling point. After positioning the pot of water, switch on the hob, select the zone, and press the key. "A" appears, and the indicator light turns on. An animation shows heating. For correct operation:
- Use water only (room temperature).
- Do not add salt or other ingredients until boiling point is reached.
- Do not change power settings or move the pot.
- Do not use pressure cookers.
- Fill the pot to at least 1/3 full (min. 1 litre), not to the brim.
For optimum results:
- Do not put a lid on the pot during Auto-boiling.
- Do not activate if the zone is already hot (indicated by "H").
When water boils, an acoustic signal sounds three times. After the second signal, a minute minder activates. After the third signal, the hob automatically reduces power to maintain simmering. Ingredients can be added, and timer/power can be adjusted. Changing power or selecting "Hold" overrides Auto-boiling.
The function is deactivated when "Hold" is selected. The hob manages Auto-boiling and booster levels autonomously; booster activation may not be possible with Auto-boiling. Cookware quality can affect Auto-boiling performance.
