In KENT Crystal Vacuum Cleaner the air and dust are sucked at high speed creating a fast-spinning vortex while the dust is separated in a detachable cylindrical collection vessel or bin. The HEPA filter in KENT Crystal Vacuum Cleaner reduces the air pollution in the room with lower dust discharge.

The main unit is an upright vacuum cleaner with a handle, body, dustbin, and various attachments including a tube, crevice tool, and floor/carpet brush. The handle for the unit includes buttons for operation and release. The main body houses the motor and dustbin. An accessory holder is provided for storing attachments.

Assembling Your KENT Crystal Vacuum Cleaner
- Unpack the unit and remove any stickers that can prevent unit operation.
- Check the unit for damages. Do not use it in case of any damages.
- Before switching the unit on, make sure that your home's main voltage corresponds to the unit's operating voltage.
Attaching/Detaching
Extension tube
- Hold the tube by its handle and push it inside slowly.
- You will hear a 'Click' sound indicating that the tube is properly inserted.
- To detach, gently press the button and pull out slowly.
Connecting handle
- Attach the handle to the tube by pushing it. You will hear a 'Click' sound indicating that the handle is properly inserted.
- To detach, gently press the button and pull out slowly.
Connecting the tube, brush and motor
- Insert the upper end of the tube to the body. You will hear a 'Click' sound indicating that the tube is properly inserted.
- Attach the other end to the brush as shown in the figure.
- To detach, gently press the button and pull out slowly.
Connecting the Crevice tool
- Insert the crevice tool into the body. You will hear a 'Click' sound indicating that the tool is properly inserted.
- To detach, gently press the button and pull out slowly.
Connecting the Floor/Carpet Brush to the main body
- Attach the brush to the main body as shown in the figure. Insert the crevice tool into the body. You will hear a 'Click' sound indicating that the brush is properly inserted.
- To detach, gently press the button and pull out slowly.
Adjustment in Floor/Carpet Brush
Adjust the settings by pressing the adjustment latch located on the carpet brush:
- a. To use the brush on hard floor, extend the brush.
- b. For use on carpets or rugs, retract the brush.
Note: Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories.
Using Your KENT Crystal Vacuum Cleaner
- To use the appliance, rotate the hook 180° and remove the power cord. Connect the power cord to the corresponding power socket.
- Press on/off button to switch on your appliance.
- After use, switch the appliance off and unplug the cord. Adjust the hook to the position as shown in picture and wind the cord to the hook. Store in an upright position.
Using the Accessories
- The Crevice tool is ideal for cleaning surfaces that are difficult to clean otherwise, such as radiators, couch corners and cushion edges.
- The Hard Brush can be used for cleaning both, hard floors and carpets.
- Use the appliance in hand-held mode to clean the surfaces of furniture, floors, walls and curtains, etc.
The appliance is used by plugging it into a power socket and pressing the on/off button. The power cord can be wound around a hook for storage. Accessories include a crevice tool for tight spaces and a hard brush suitable for floors and carpets. The unit can also be used in a hand-held configuration for cleaning furniture and other surfaces.
Note: Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories.
Important Instructions
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner too close to heaters, radiators, cigarette butts, etc.
- Do not plug or unplug the device with wet hands.
- Before using the vacuum cleaner, remove large or sharp objects from the floor to prevent damage of HEPA filter.
- While unplugging, do not pull the electrical cord. Pull out the plug.
Note: If the suction pipe or metal telescopic tube is blocked, switch off the vacuum cleaner at once. Unplug the appliance before clearing the blockage. Once done, you can start the vacuum cleaner again.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Note: Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
Emptying Dust Container
It is necessary to empty the dust container when it is 2/3 filled.
- To empty the dust container, remove the filters (one by one) as shown in the figure.
- Empty the container in a dust bin or trash can ?️.
- Reinsert the filter assembly.
The dust container is emptied by first removing the filters. The contents of the dustbin are then disposed of in a trash receptacle. Finally, the filter assembly is put back into place.
Washing and Cleaning of Filters
For trouble-free operations, it is important to clean the filters regularly.
- Step 1: Remove the HEPA & Foam filters (one by one) as shown in the figure.
- Step 2: Clean and wash under running water.
- Step 3: After washing the Foam filter, gently wring it and leave it to dry.
- Step 4: Dry the HEPA filter by placing it either on the table or on the floor.
Filters, including HEPA and foam types, should be removed and washed under running water. The foam filter should be gently wrung out to dry, while the HEPA filter can be air-dried on a flat surface.
Storage
- If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, store it carefully.
- Unplug the appliance ?.
- Wind the cord to the hook of the cord and place the crevice tool in the accessory holder.
- Place the appliance in an upright position.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
General Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Do not leave the vacuum cleaner on when plugged in. Unplug, when not in use and before servicing it.
- To reduce risk of electric shock ⚡, do not use on wet surfaces.
- Use the appliance only as described in the operating instruction manual.
- Always use manufacturer-recommended attachments only.
- Do not use the appliance if cord or plug is damaged or worn out. Replace the damaged cord or plug immediately.
- Do not try to service the appliance on your own. Send it to an authorized service center.
- Never use the cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not unplug the cord by pulling it. Always unplug by pulling out the plug.
- To avoid electric shocks ⚡, do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of body away from moving parts.
- Turn the appliance off before unplugging.
- Use extra precautions while cleaning stairs.
- Do not use the appliance to pick any flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline. Do not use in areas where they may be present.
- Unplug the appliance before connecting any accessories.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot-ash.
- Never use the appliance without the filter in place.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is suitable for indoor use only.
- Keep away from children.
Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this vacuum cleaner has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the plug in the outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
