Assembling Your KENT Duster Vacuum Cleaner
- Unpack the unit and remove any protective stickers.
- Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Verify that your home's main voltage matches the unit's operating voltage.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn on the unit and guide the suction brush along the surface to be cleaned.
- After use, switch off the power and unplug the unit.
- Utilize the cord wrap hook on the handle and body for neat storage of the power cord.
Using the Accessories
The KENT Duster Vacuum Cleaner comes with several accessories for versatile cleaning:
- 2-in-1 Crevice Nozzle: Insert this nozzle into the vacuum cleaner's mouth. The crevice brush is ideal for vacuuming carpets and sofas.
- Crevice Tool: This accessory is useful for cleaning any nook or cranny that is difficult to reach.
- Hose: The hose attachment allows you to reach narrow spaces, such as under couches or beds.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your vacuum cleaner.
General Cleaning:
- Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior of the appliance with a dry cloth.
Filter Cleaning:
- Shake the filter over a waste container to remove loose debris.
- For heavy usage, wash the filter gently by hand in warm water with a mild dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting. Replace the filter if it is torn.
Emptying the Dust Compartment:
- Hold the vacuum cleaner and press the release button to detach the dust compartment.
- Hold the dust compartment over a waste container, grasp the cyclone separator, and gently pull it out.
- Empty the collected dust into the waste container. The dust compartment can be rinsed with warm water and a mild detergent. Ensure it is completely dry before reassembly.
Note: Avoid using gasoline, solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects, or hard brushes for cleaning.
Assembling the Dust Cup
- Align the tube on the cyclone separator with the sealing ring of the dust cup, then insert the cyclone separator into the dust cup.
- Place the filter back into the vacuum cleaner with the labeled side facing out, ensuring it is securely sealed.
- Hold the vacuum cleaner with the filter facing upwards, and simultaneously hold the dust cup with the other hand to prevent it from falling out.
- Latch the hole on the backside of the dust cup onto the buckle of the vacuum cleaner.
- Align the front hole of the dust cup with the dust compartment release button and press until you hear a click sound.
Troubleshooting
If you notice a reduction in suction power, please check the following:
- Ensure the dust compartment and its parts are assembled correctly.
- Check if the air inlet is blocked and remove any foreign objects.
- Verify if the dust compartment needs to be emptied.
- Check the filter and clean it if necessary.
Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this vacuum cleaner features a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one way. If the plug does not fit correctly, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the outlet properly. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any manner.

- Warranty Period: One year from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship under normal usage. KENT or its Authorized Service Provider (ASP) will repair or replace defective parts.
- Exclusions: Consumables, plastic body damage due to mishandling, damage from misuse, negligence, alteration, accidents, improper operation, or failure to perform basic maintenance. Also excludes damage from freezing, floods, fire, or Acts of God.
- Service: Product must be shipped freight prepaid for examination.
- Jurisdiction: All warranty claims are governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts.
- Liability Limit: KENT or its ASP's liability shall not exceed the value of the product.
- Non-Negotiable Terms: Warranty terms are final and cannot be altered by any representative.
