• Always wear an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly, with the chin strap secured.
• Avoid obstacles and slippery surfaces that can cause loss of balance or traction.
• Ensure all parts are properly installed before use.

WARNING: Do not modify the Electric Scooter without prior written approval from the manufacturer. Modifications can interfere with operation, cause injury or damage, and void the Lenoxx Electronics Australia Pty Ltd Warranty.

Safety and Warnings

Riding an electric scooter is a dangerous activity. Components can fail, and loss of control, falls, or dangerous situations can occur despite care or expertise. You can be seriously injured or die, even with safety equipment.

RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE.

This manual contains warnings about consequences of improper inspection, maintenance, or use. Incidents can result in serious injury or death.

Appropriate Riding Attire:

• Approved safety helmet (may be legally required).
• Elbow pads and knee pads.
• Long-sleeved shirt, long pants.
• Gloves.
• Lace-up shoes with rubber soles. Avoid riding barefoot or in sandals. Ensure shoelaces are tied and kept away from wheels and drive system.

Rider Use and Parental Supervision:

• Rider weight must not exceed 120 KG.
• Rider size should be appropriate for control.
• Review this manual thoroughly to ensure all riders understand warnings and safety topics. Periodically review and reinforce information with riders.
• Recommended rider age: 16 years and older. Riders unable to fit comfortably should not attempt to ride.
• Parental decisions should be based on child's maturity, skill, and ability to follow rules.
• Do not touch the motor or brakes when hot.
• Keep away from small children; intended for competent and comfortable adult operators.

Riding Practices and Conditions

Obey local laws and regulations for scooter usage locations.

• Ride defensively. Watch for obstacles, pedestrians, other wheeled products, children, and animals.
• Respect the rights and property of others.
• Activate speed control only in a safe, outdoor environment.
• Do not attempt stunts or tricks. The product is not designed for jumping or abuse.
• Maintain a hold with both hands on the handlebars.
• Never allow more than one person to ride.
• Never use near steps, water, or swimming pools.
• Never ride while using a mobile phone or wearing headphones.
• Keep body parts away from moving components (belt, motor, steering, wheels).
• Never hitch on to or pull other vehicles or people.
• Never immerse the scooter in water; this can damage components and create unsafe conditions.
• Ride only on flat, dry surfaces like pavement. Avoid loose debris (sand, leaves, rocks, gravel), water, mud, ice, bumps, uneven, slick, or rough surfaces.
• Avoid excessive speeds on downhill rides.
• Do not ride at night or in areas of limited visibility.
• Do not ride in wet weather.
• Do not ride near flammable or explosive materials.
• NEVER use on public roads, hills, sloped driveways, near motor vehicles, or swimming pools.
• Do not ride indoors or on surfaces that could be damaged (e.g., carpet, flooring).

Pre-Ride Checks:

• Ensure the brake system functions properly.
• Ensure all components are secured and functioning per specifications.

Components must be maintained and repaired by authorized parts and qualified agents.

General Safety Information

1. Do not submerge the scooter or charger in water or any liquid.
2. Do not charge with a broken or damaged charger. Call 1300 666 848 for replacements.
3. Repairs must be done by an authorized service center.
4. Assembly must be completed by an adult.
5. Keep bags and small parts away from babies and children to avoid suffocation.
6. This scooter is not designed for individuals with physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or those without experience, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible adult. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the scooter.

Battery and Charger

Charging the Battery:

• Charge the battery fully before first use.
• The battery can be charged anytime.
• Charge every three months to maintain lifespan.
• The lithium battery can be recharged at least 500 times.

Using the Charger:

• The charger has a protection function; it stops charging at 100%.
• First charge: 6 hours. Subsequent charges: no more than 5 hours.
• To charge: Open the rubber charging hole cover, connect the cable, plug into a power point.
• Charger light: Red = charging, Green = fully charged.
• Regularly inspect the charger cord, plug, and enclosure for damage. Do not charge if damaged; have it repaired or replaced.
• Use only the supplied charger. Exercise caution.
• The charger is not a toy; operate by an adult. Keep away from flammable materials.
• Disconnect charger and scooter when not in use. Do not exceed recommended charging time.
• Always disconnect the charger from the scooter before cleaning.

App Download and Functions

Download the "aovopro" app from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).

1. Search for "aovopro" and install.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device.
3. Turn on the scooter by pressing the power button for 1 second.
4. Open the "aovopro" app.

The scooter connects automatically. Use the app to control the light, change speed, set cruise control, or lock the scooter. Alternatively, use the scooter's built-in controls.

Scooter Connected Features:

• Real time speed: Displays current travel speed.
• Lock/Unlock button: Locks/unlocks the scooter.
• Bluetooth connection indicator: Shows connection status.
• Speed level button: Switches between speed modes (Eco: 15 km/h, Slow: 20 km/h, Sport: 25 km/h).
• Light on/off: Controls the LED headlight.
• Settings: Accesses various settings.
• Cruise control on/off: Activates/deactivates cruise control.
• Scooter details: Provides information like battery status, speed, voltage, current, input power, controller temperature, total mileage, and app version.

Advanced Settings (via App):

• Accelerated response: Adjusts accelerator sensitivity (Level 1-10).
• Brake response: Adjusts brake sensitivity (Level 1-10).
• Speed limit value: Sets the speed limit (15 km/h - 30 km/h). Default is 25 km/h.

Assembly

1. Connect electric clips and fix the steering rod.
2. Set the handlebars to a vertical position.
3. Open and lock the folding mechanism.
4. Using the included hex wrench and screws, tighten the screws on the handlebar. Check and retighten periodically.
5. Test turning the scooter on/off by holding the power button for 3 seconds after assembly is complete.

Folding the Scooter

1. Ensure the scooter is switched off.
2. Hold the front pole, lean it slightly forward, loosen the lock lever on the folding mechanism, and lower the handlebars towards the rear.
3. Locate the rubber clamp on the rear mudguard. The hook attached to the bell should latch onto this clamp.
4. To unfold, release the hook from the clamp, lift the front pole to the upright position, and lock the folding mechanism lever.

Operation

Operation Instructions:

• ON/OFF: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on/off. The LCD displays battery level and real-time speed. A single press of the power button toggles the headlight on/off.
• Speed Control: Use the right speed lever to control speed (1-25 km/h). The lever increases speed. To slow down, use the brake handle or release the lever. Max speed can be increased to 30 km/h via app settings.
• Braking Control: Press the brake handle. Greater pressure results in stronger braking force. The brake cut-off switch stops the motor when the brake is applied.
• Signal: Press the signal lever to sound the bell.

Riding Operation

The scooter's maximum speed setting is 30 km/h, adjustable via the app.

• For safety, limit speed to 0-20 km/h.
• At night, limit speed to 15 km/h or less and use the LED headlight.
• Choose a suitable venue for riding.

Starting:

1. Press the on/off button.
2. Stand with one foot on the scooter, the other on the ground.
3. Gently press the speed lever; the scooter will move forward slowly. Place the second foot on the scooter.
4. Press the speed lever with your thumb; greater pressure means faster acceleration.

Braking:

Pressing the brake handle will de-energize the motor and apply the brakes. Greater pressure increases braking force.

Cruise Control:

• Ensure cruise control is ON in the app.
• Set your desired speed. The scooter will maintain this speed after 8 seconds of continuous throttle input.
• A beep sound indicates cruise control activation. Press the speed lever once to disengage.

Zero Start (Kick Start / Taxi Mode):

• This feature is for safety. Change between Kick Start and Taxi Mode in the app.
• Kick Start: Requires pushing off with your foot to gain momentum before using the speed lever. The speed lever will not engage without initial momentum.
• Taxi Mode: Use the thumb accelerator to start the scooter's ride.

Hardware Maintenance

• Brake: Check for proper function, positive braking action, and ensure brakes are not rubbing. Verify the brake cut-off stops the motor.
• Frame, Fork, and Handlebars: Check for cracks or broken connections. Inspect regularly.
• Battery: Turn off the power switch when not in use. Never store in freezing temperatures, as this can permanently damage the battery.
• Lubricating: Apply grease/lubricant to the folded position every six months. Check screws for tightness every three months.
• Placement and Daily Care: Avoid prolonged exposure to sun or wet conditions. Keep the scooter clean and dry. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent for cleaning.
• Charger: Use only the supplied battery charger. Replace if damaged.
• Wheels: Components are subject to normal wear and tear. Regularly inspect wheels for wear and adjust/replace drive train components as needed.

Battery Care and Disposal

• Do not store the battery in temperatures above 21°C (70°F) or below 0°C (32°F).
• Disposal: This scooter contains sealed lead-acid batteries that must be recycled according to local and state laws. Do not dispose of batteries in household trash, fire, or landfill. Return exhausted batteries to an approved recycler or local vehicle battery retailer.
• WARNING: Do not mix old and new batteries, or different battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, nickel-cadmium).

Troubleshooting

General Troubleshooting:

1. LED display black screen: Reason: Overexposure to sun. Solution: Place in shadow; it should return to normal.
2. No information on digital display: Reason: Bad battery contacts or dead battery. Solution: Turn power off, restart. If problem persists, contact local battery reseller.

Cleaning

Clean the scooter with a soft damp cloth. Do not use wax or spray liquids, as they can damage the power switch. Do not submerge the scooter or charger in water or other liquids.
