Vacuum Cleaner Assembly Instructions

NOTE: Always unplug the appliance before assembling or disassembling any parts!

  1. Assembling the flexible hose to the vacuum cleaner: Insert the hose end into the vacuum cleaner's suction opening. Push until it clicks and the hose is securely in place. To detach the flexible hose, press both locking buttons and pull the hose out (Fig. 1). The closed slider provides stronger suction; the open slider provides weaker suction.
  2. Assembling the telescopic tube to the flexible hose end: Attach the telescopic tube to the flexible hose end and twist slightly.
  3. Extending the telescopic tube: Press the plastic latch and pull out the narrower tube.
  4. Assembling the floor nozzle to the telescopic tube: Attach the telescopic tube to the floor nozzle and twist slightly. Using the flap (Fig. 2), you can switch the floor nozzle's function between brushing (for floors and smooth surfaces) and smooth vacuuming (for carpets).

Figure 1 shows how to connect the flexible hose to the vacuum cleaner. Figure 2 shows how to adjust the floor nozzle for different surfaces.

Accessories

  1. Crevice nozzle: Used for cleaning hard-to-reach areas such as radiators, crevices, corners, skirting boards, and spaces between upholstery.

Vacuuming

Before using the vacuum cleaner, ensure that the filters and dust bag are correctly installed and in their proper positions. Extend the power cord to the appropriate length. The yellow mark on the power cord indicates the optimal cable length. Do not extend the power cord beyond the red mark!

  1. Insert the vacuum cleaner's power cord plug into the electrical outlet.
  2. Press the switch to turn on the vacuum cleaner.
  3. Adjust the suction power using the power regulator.
  4. After vacuuming, press the switch to turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
  5. Retract the power cord by pressing the cord rewind button with one hand while holding the cord with the other to prevent uncontrolled movement.

Dust Bag Full Indicator

If the dust bag full indicator turns red during operation, replace the dust bag immediately.

Note: If the indicator remains red after replacing the dust bag, it may be due to several reasons:

Check for these issues and resolve them before using the vacuum cleaner again. If the cause of the problem cannot be determined, take the appliance to the nearest service center. If the dust bag full indicator is completely red during operation, do not continue vacuuming, as this could cause irreversible damage to the motor.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the vacuum cleaner and accessories with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water! Do not use aggressive substances such as solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Dust Bag Replacement

  1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, remove the hose from the suction opening, and open the vacuum cleaner housing.
  2. Press the dust bag holder flap and remove the dust bag (Fig. 3). Dispose of paper or SMS dust bags. Be careful not to tear the used bag during replacement. Textile bags should be emptied and closed securely – they can be reused multiple times.
  3. Insert a new or emptied dust bag, sliding the plate into the holder and securing it in place with the flap. The bag opening must face the vacuum cleaner cover opening.
  4. Never use the vacuum cleaner without a dust bag! If the dust bag is not installed or is installed incorrectly, the appliance's motor may be damaged.
  5. Close the housing and press down until it clicks.

Figure 3 illustrates the dust bag replacement process.

Filter Replacement

Cleaning and Replacing the Motor Filter

  1. Disconnect the flexible hose and open the vacuum cleaner housing.
  2. Remove the dust bag from its holder in the vacuum cleaner compartment to gain better access to the motor filter.
  3. Remove the motor filter (Fig. 4). The filter can be cleaned by shaking. If the filter is heavily soiled, it can be washed with lukewarm water and left to dry.

Figure 4 shows the motor filter.

Cleaning and Replacing the Exhaust Air Filter

  1. Open the exhaust air grille at the rear of the vacuum cleaner (Fig. 5).
  2. Remove the exhaust air filter. This type of filter can be cleaned mechanically by shaking and wiping with a soft brush. A heavily soiled filter can also be washed and cleaned with a soft brush in lukewarm water, without detergents. Important: Allow wet parts to dry completely. Vacuuming with a damp filter installed could damage it! Do not dry the filter with a hairdryer!

Note: Washing with water may cause increased wear and thus shorten the filter's lifespan.

  1. Install the cleaned or new exhaust air filter and close the exhaust air grille.

Figure 5 shows the exhaust air filter.
