Scenario 1: Connect Devices with Optical Interfaces

This scenario illustrates connecting an Ethernet device equipped with optical interfaces to the Media Converter. The connection involves:

• An "Ethernet Device with Optical Interfaces" connected to the Media Converter's "100BASE-X (Fiber) Interface" using an "LC-SC Fiber Cable".
• The Media Converter's RJ45 port connected to a "Powered Device (PD)" such as an "IP Camera" or "AP" via a "Twisted-Pair Cable".

Note: The maximum output power of the MC112CSP-20 is 15.4W. PoE devices requiring more than 15.4W are not supported.

The PoE Media Converter provides stable power and data connectivity to powered devices like PoE IP Cameras and PoE APs.

Scenario 2: Connect Devices without Optical Interfaces

This scenario demonstrates connecting an Ethernet device without optical interfaces. The setup includes:

• An "Ethernet Device without Optical Interfaces" connected to the Media Converter's RJ45 port via a "Twisted-Pair Cable".
• The Media Converter's "100BASE-X (Fiber) Interface" connected to a second Media Converter (MC111CS) using an "SC-SC Fiber Cable".
• The second Media Converter then connects to a "Powered Device (PD)" such as an "IP Camera" or "AP" via a "Twisted-Pair Cable".

Note: To ensure proper operation, use one MC112CSP-20 and one MC111CS together.
