Introduction
The PROLED Smart Series is an advanced retail lighting solution leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. It offers full-spectrum and high-saturation lighting that can be automatically adjusted based on commodity analysis via built-in sensors. Lights connect via Bluetooth mesh and communicate with AWS Cloud through Wi-Fi.
This system aims to enhance the brick-and-mortar shopping experience, addressing the challenge of global e-commerce growth by providing personalized shopping environments and allowing customers to preview commodities in person.

Key Functions
- Auto Mode: Automatically adjusts CCT and color enhancement based on detected commodity information using a built-in color sensor.
- Energy saving setting: Dims lights to a set brightness if no customer is detected within a specified time.
- Take a picture: Allows users to capture an image of a product or select one from an album, then adjust lighting based on the image.
- Color Selection: Enables manual tuning of color, saturation, color temperature, and brightness.
- Software update: Facilitates Over-The-Air (OTA) updates for spotlight firmware.
- Group setting: Manages multiple spotlights in a group for synchronized control (ON/OFF, settings, energy saving, auto mode).
- Primary-Secondary setting: Designates one light as primary, with secondary lights mirroring its settings.
- Settings reset: Resets a light to initial factory settings, removing it from the app.
- View commodity position: Allows alignment of the luminaire's beam spot with the center of a commodity.
- View customer position: Adjusts the sensor's rotatable position to optimize viewing areas for customers.
- Sub-administrator: Grants specific management rights to users for store lighting management.
- Secure admin right: Sub-administrators can obtain temporary administrator rights.
- Commodity barcode: Associates spotlights with products by scanning barcodes or entering product names for data analysis.
- WiFi Config: Configures Wi-Fi connection for data functions (2.4GHz supported).
- Data: Monitors and collects data on customer interest in commodities.
- ALL stores: Compares popularity data across multiple stores.
Recommended Usage for Auto Mode
Optimal distances and detection intervals for Auto Mode:

For best lighting effects, align the luminaire's center beam spot with the center of the commodity. Auto Mode detects commodities every 20 minutes by default; this interval can be adjusted via the app.
Mobile Application (Unibright smart control)
Download and Installation
Search for "Unibright smart control" on the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
App Compatibility:

- iPod touch: Requires iOS 13.0 or later.
- Mac: Requires macOS 11.0 or later and Mac with Apple M1 chip.

Languages supported by the app: English, French, German, and Dutch.
App Overview
The app configures and sets Smart Series devices via Bluetooth mesh. It communicates with the cloud server through a Wi-Fi router.
Key App Functions
- Light On/Off: Control individual lights or groups.
- Light Setting: Offers three modes: Auto Mode (default), Take a picture, or Color Selection. Using "Take a picture" or "Color Selection" disables Auto Mode.
- Auto Mode: Automatically optimizes lighting based on commodity detection. Can be turned ON/OFF in the app. Sensor detection interval is 20 minutes by default.
- Energy saving setting: Allows preset brightness and waiting periods for dimming when no customers are present.
- Brightness adjustment: Adjusts output brightness from 1% to 100%.
- Power Setting: Adjusts output power from 5W up to the spotlight's maximum.
- Software update: Updates device firmware via OTA. Requires Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz only).
- Group setting & Group control: Manages and controls multiple devices within a group.
- Primary-Secondary setting: Sets a primary device whose settings are mirrored by secondary devices in a group.
- Settings reset: Resets a device to factory defaults and removes it from the app.
- Store management: Create, join, and manage stores and members.
- Data: Collects and displays data on customer interest.
- Scene: Controls multiple devices and groups for customized lighting effects.
Store Management Details
- Create a Store: Administrator must create a store first, then invite members.
- Share and Join a Store: Administrators share invitation codes; other members join using the code. Non-administrators cannot add devices or create groups.
- Administrator transfer: An administrator can transfer their rights to another member.
- Sub-administrator gains admin right: Sub-administrators can secure admin rights for one hour.
Device Management

Advanced Features and Troubleshooting
Primary-Secondary Setting
Allows one light (Primary) to control the settings of other lights (Secondary) in a group. The Primary light can be set to Auto Mode or energy-saving mode, and Secondary lights will follow.
All Devices Control
Access and control all devices within the system from a central point.
Scenes
- Create a scene: Define custom lighting scenarios by naming and adding devices/groups.
- Execute a scene: Activate a pre-configured scene.
- Edit scene: Modify existing scene settings.
- Delete a scene: Remove a scene.
Handling Disconnected Devices
- Remove: Remove a device from the app if it's not connecting. This requires a physical reset to re-add.
- Physical Reset: Press the device's physical button for more than 3 seconds to reset it.
Status Indications
Device Connecting: Light flashes 5 times.
Time Out: APP shows "Time Out".
Device Connected Failed: Light flashes 5 times.
Device Connected Successes: Light is connected.
Troubleshooting Common Problems

Safety and Installation Notes
General Installation: Please switch off the electricity before commencing installation. Follow the sequence of installation steps carefully.
Warming: The light source and parts of this luminaire are not replaceable. When they reach the end of their life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
Safety Precautions:
- Always cut off the power before performing any operations.
- Do not continue to use if the luminaire is damaged.
- Luminaires should not be stored or used in corrosive environments or environments containing hazardous substances (e.g., sulfide, halides, phthalates).
- Luminaires should be installed outside the reach of human hands.
Product Lifespan: Refers to lighting time when luminous flux of 50% of luminaires reaches 70% of initial luminous flux (L70B50), based on 25°C ambient temperature and rated voltage.
Sensor Information: Color sensors recognize object colors. Data sensors monitor passenger flow status.
Leakage Current: Dependent on conductor length, specification, and connection methods.
