I. How to Use Your Binocular

A. IPD Adjustment

Set the interpupillary distance by grasping the body and bending it until you can see one circle of view. The setting for your eyes will be indicated on the IPD Scale. (Note the scale setting for later use.)

B. Focusing

1. Always start viewing from low magnification; its wide viewing field will make it easier to locate objects. Once you have located an object and want to see the detail, you can change to higher magnification.
2. Close your right eye and sight an object with your left eye. Focus the binocular by rotating the center focus wheel until the image is sharp and clear.
3. Open your right eye and close your left eye. Rotate the right eyepiece until the object sighted is sharp and clear. (Note the setting of the diopter scale for later use.)
4. Both sides (eyes) are now in focus. You will need to use only the center focus wheel to focus on other objects.
5. If you want to use the highest magnification, choose a target farther away, as very high magnification can make it difficult to focus on nearby objects. Adjust the magnification according to the distance of your target.

II. How to Care for Your Binocular

• Keep the lens covers on the lenses when the binocular is not in use.
• When wiping the lenses, use the lens cloth that comes with the binocular, or a soft, lintless cloth.
• To remove any remaining dirt or smudges, add one or two drops of isopropyl alcohol to the cloth.
• Store your binocular in a moisture-free area.

III. Very Important

Never attempt to clean your binocular internally or try to take it apart. Viewing the sun can cause permanent eye damage. Do not view the sun with this binocular or even with the naked eye.

IV. How to Install Phone Adapter

1. Twist up the eyecup to the top. Adjust the focus and get a clear view. Insert eyepiece into eyepiece bayonet.
2. Rotate the locking mechanism to a proper position. Pull it up to fix it if the arc is turned up. Push it down to fix it if the arc is turned down.
3. Pull up the sucker lever. Turn on the phone camera. Adjust the phone to make sure the phone camera is in the center of the eyepiece bayonet so that you can get a complete image.
4. Press the rubber sucker with your fingers. Push down the sucker lever to make sure it is connected with the phone tightly. Aim at the target. If the image is incomplete, loosen the fine adjustment screw and adjust the phone (left or right, up or down) until you find the best position and get a complete image. Tighten the fine adjustment screw.
