Getting Started

This guide provides essential steps to quickly begin using your Feiyu Pocket 3 stabilized camera. For comprehensive details, please refer to the full user manual.

To access advanced features and control your camera, download the "FeiyuCam" app. Search for it in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

System Requirements: iOS 13.0 or above, Android 6.0 or above.

1. Overview

Before use, please remove the protective film from the camera lens.

Camera Components:

• [1] Power button: Turns the device on/off.
• [2] Screen: Displays camera status and controls.
• [3] Microphone: Captures audio.
• [4] USB-C charging port: For charging the device.
• [5] Dovetail slot: For mounting accessories.
• [6] Tilt axis: Controls vertical camera movement.
• [7] Camera lens: Captures images and video.
• [8] Pan axis: Controls horizontal camera movement.
• [9] Shutter button/Indicator: Starts/stops recording, takes photos, indicates status.
• [10] Gimbal mode button: Switches between gimbal modes (Follow, All Follow, Pan, Lock).
• [11] Roll axis: Controls camera roll movement.
• [12] MicroSD card slot: For storing media files.
• [13] Magnetic base: Attaches to expansion bases and accessories.

2. Getting Started

2.1 Charging

Connect the Feiyu Pocket 3 to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. Charging is recommended at least once a month.

Charging Status:

• Charging: Red indicator light is on.
• Complete: Indicator light turns off.

(Note: While working, the display shows charging status. While off, the indicator light shows status.)

Charging Input: 5V 2A

2.2 Insert MicroSD Card

A UHS Speed Grade 3 (U3) microSD card is required. Please format the card using the Feiyu Pocket 3 upon first insertion.

2.3 Mount the Expansion Base

Slide the magnetic base (bottom of the camera) into the expansion base. This allows for attaching accessories like tripods or wristbands.

2.4 Use Protective Cover

When not in use, cover the gimbal with the protective cover. Align the larger opening with the USB-C port. Gently push down to secure.

2.5 Button Operation

Power Button:

• Long press (1s): Power ON/OFF.
• Single tap: Switch between photo, video, or recently used functions.

Gimbal Mode Button:

• Single tap: Cycle through Follow mode, All Follow mode, Pan mode.
• Double tap: Recenter the gimbal.
• Triple tap: Enter/Exit selfie mode.
• Press and hold: Enter lock mode.

Shutter Button:

• Single tap: Start/stop recording, or take a photo.
• Long press (3s): Turn Wi-Fi on/off.

Safety and Care

Important Notices:

• Ensure the motor's rotation is not blocked by external force when the product is powered on.
• Do not expose the product to water or other liquids unless it is marked as waterproof or splash-proof.
• Do not disassemble the product unless marked as detachable. Contact FeiyuTech after-sales service for repairs if accidentally disassembled.
• Be aware that prolonged continuous operation may cause the product surface temperature to rise. Operate with care.
• Do not drop or strike the product. Contact Feiyu After-sales support if the product becomes abnormal.

Storage and Maintenance:

• Keep the product out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not place the product near heat sources (e.g., furnace, heater) or inside a vehicle on hot days.
• Store the product in a dry environment.
• Avoid overcharging or overusing the battery to prevent damage. If not used for a long time, charge it at least once a month.
• Never use the product in extreme temperatures (too high or too low).

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Warranty Information

Warranty: One year from the date of selling, the product is malfunctioning under normal use due to non-artificial reasons.

Warranty Exclusions: Malfunctions caused by unauthorized disassembly, conversion, or addition are not covered. The buyer must provide proof of maintenance service (warranty card, legitimate receipts, invoices, or purchase screenshots).

Cases Not Covered: Inability to provide legitimate proof of purchase or damage caused by human or irresistible factors.
