Components
- A: Laser outlet
- B: Horizontal vial for alignment
- C: Laser ON/OFF switch
- D: LED light ON/OFF switch
- E: Magnetic V-groove
- F: Rotatable vial
- G: Battery compartment
- H: Magnet for iron wall mount plate
- Iron wall mount plate
- J: Reusable double sided mounting gel pad
Note: The distance between the laser outlet and the base is 1.06 in. (27mm).
Unpacking
When unpacking, do not discard any packing materials until all contents are accounted for:
- 2-in-1 compact magnetic laser torpedo level
- 1 x AAA alkaline battery
- Iron wall mount plate
- Reusable double sided mounting gel pad
- Operator's manual
Carefully lift the laser tool out of the package and place it on a stable, flat surface.
Assembly
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
Use one 1.5V AAA alkaline battery. Open the battery compartment lid using a PH #1 Philips screwdriver or a 3mm slotted screwdriver. Insert the battery, observing the correct polarity as indicated inside the lid.
Note: Remove the battery when not using the tool for extended periods to prevent corrosion and discharge.
Operation
1. Turning the Laser Tool On and Off
- Push the button to project a laser beam from the laser outlet. Push again to turn the laser beam off.
- Push the button to turn on the LED light in the horizontal bubble. Push again to turn it off.
Note: The LED light in the horizontal bubble is useful for tasks in dark areas.
2. Levelling
This laser level is not self-leveling. Use the horizontal bubble to achieve a horizontal line with the bubble centered. The rotating vial can be used to confirm the inclination of the laser line or vertical angle. It can be adjusted to 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90° for quick angle settings.
The tool has a magnetic back and can be attached to the iron wall mount plate. The iron wall mount plate can be fixed to a wall by nailing. The laser level can also be attached to smooth surfaces using the provided reusable double-sided mounting gel pad.
Notes:
- The gel pad can be washed and reused. Wash it frequently to maintain adhesion. Ensure the gel pad is clean of dust or debris before use.
- Do not use the gel pad on loose or wet wall surfaces to prevent the laser level from falling.
- Always keep the target wall surface clean when using the gel pad.
Applications
The tool can be placed on the ground, mounted on a work bench/door frame, etc. It is ideal for line marking and simple alignment by sight.
