A. Function

B. LCD Display
The LCD display shows:
- Beaufort scale
- Air velocity
- Unit of air velocity
- Wind chill
- Temperature unit
- Temperature (displays "Cu" when setting measuring mode)
- Average air velocity
- Max air velocity
- Power indicator
The display includes indicators for units like m/s, Km/h, ft/min, Knots, mph, and a Beaufort scale from 0 to 12.
C. Operation
- Turn on: Press the "MODE" button for 2 seconds. The LCD will display Air velocity, temperature, and battery icon. The LCD backlight will stay on for 12 seconds.
- Set unit of air velocity and measuring mode:
- Press "MODE" button for more than 3 seconds until "m/s" blinks.
- Press "SET" button to select the desired air velocity unit.
- Press "MODE" button to confirm the unit.
- To set CU/MAX/AVG mode, press "SET" button repeatedly until CU/MAX/AVG blinks, then press "MODE" button to confirm.
- Settings are stored when the unit is turned off. Changing the battery will reset settings to factory preset.
- Units of Air velocity: m/s, Km/hr, ft/min, Knots, mph
- Measuring modes: CU (current air velocity), AVG (average air velocity), MAX (max air velocity)
3. Set temperature unit
Use a small push-pin to press the temperature switch key (°C/°F) located in the rear cabinet for °C/°F conversion.
4. Backlight display
The backlight activates for 12 seconds upon pressing any key.
5. Measurement
When the wind vane (impeller) turns, the LCD instantly displays wind speed, temperature, and Beaufort scale. When the temperature is below 0°C, "WIND CHILL" will be shown on the LCD.
6. Turn off
Press both "MODE" and "SET" buttons simultaneously to turn off the unit.
7. Auto power shut off
The unit will automatically shut off after 14 minutes of inactivity.
8. Change battery
When the symbol "?️" (low battery indicator) appears on the LCD, please change the battery.
