Safety Warnings

Fall Hazard: Never use on any elevated surface, since child's movement may cause product to slide or tip over. Use only on a floor.
Suffocation Hazard: Never use on a soft surface (bed, sofa, cushion) since product can tip over and cause suffocation in soft surfaces.
Always use restraint system until the child is able to climb in and out of the product unassisted.
Never leave child unattended.
Use the upright position only when child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward.
Never use as a carrier or lift while child is seated. Never use the toy bar as a handle.
Important Information
Please keep these instructions for future reference. Read before assembly and use.
Adult assembly is required. A Phillips screwdriver (not included) is needed.
Requires one "D" (LR20) alkaline battery (not included) for soother operation. Requires two (LR44) button cell batteries (mercury-free batteries included) for toy operation.

IMPORTANT! Please remove all parts from the package and identify them before assembly. Some parts may be packed in the pad.
Assembly Instructions
General Notes
Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use if any parts are missing or broken. Contact Fisher-Price® for replacement parts and instructions if needed. Never substitute parts.
Step 1: Attach Side Rails to Seat Back Tube
Description of Diagram: Shows the seat back tube with buttons on the ends, and the side rail sockets. The diagram illustrates inserting the seat back tube into the side rail sockets.
- Position each side rail so that the button faces outward.
- Insert the seat back tube into the socket in each side rail.
- While pressing the tabs on the ends of the seat back tube, continue to insert the seat back tube into the sockets in each side rail, until the tabs “snap" into place. Make sure you hear a “snap” on each side.
- Pull the seat back tube up to be sure it is secure in the side rail sockets.
Step 2: Attach Cross Brace
Description of Diagram: Shows the two side rails connected by the seat back tube, with the cross brace positioned between the side rails.
- Fit the cross brace between the side rails, as shown.
Step 3: Secure Cross Brace with Screws
Description of Diagram: Shows screws being inserted through the side rails into the ends of the cross brace.
- Insert a #8 x 1¼" (3 cm) screw through each side rail and into the ends of the cross brace.
Step 4: Attach Retainers with Lock Nuts
Description of Diagram: Shows a retainer with a lock nut being fitted onto the end of a screw and inside a side rail. A hint about the lock nut assembly is provided.
- Fit a retainer with lock nut onto the end of the screw and to the inside of a side rail. Tighten the screw.
- Repeat this procedure to fasten the screw in the other end of the cross brace and side rail, using the remaining retainer with lock nut.
Step 5: Attach Front Tube
Description of Diagram: Shows the vibrations unit, front tube, and side rail holes. The diagram illustrates inserting the front tube into the side rails.
- Locate the hole in each side rail.
- With the vibrations unit facing forward, fit the front tube to the side rails, as shown. Hold the front tube in place and proceed to step 6.
- Insert a #8 x 1¼" (3 cm) screw through the outside of each side rail and into the ends of the front tube.
- IMPORTANT! Please follow the next assembly (step 7) carefully to completely secure the front tube to the side rails.
Step 6: Secure Front Tube with Retainers
Description of Diagram: Shows a retainer with lock nut being fitted onto the screw end and inside the side rail. A hint about the lock nut is provided.
- Fit a retainer with lock nut onto the end of the screw and to the inside of a side rail. Tighten the screw.
- Repeat this procedure to fasten the screw in the other end of the front tube and side rail, using the remaining retainer with lock nut.
Step 7: Attach Kickstand
Description of Diagram: Shows the assembly upside down with the kickstand being inserted into receptacles on the side rails. Buttons on the kickstand are highlighted.
- Position the assembly face down.
- While pressing the tab on each end of the kickstand, insert the kickstand into the receptacle in each side rail.
- Push the kickstand into the receptacles until the tabs "snap" into place. Make sure you hear a “snap” on each side.
- Pull the kickstand to be sure it is secure in the receptacles.
Step 8: Attach Pad
Description of Diagram: Shows the bouncer upright. The pad is shown with its upper pocket being fitted onto the seat back tube, and buckles being fastened around the side rails.
- Turn the assembly upright.
- Fit the upper pocket on the pad onto the seat back tube.
- Fasten the pad buckles around each side rail.
Step 9: Insert Hardboard and Fasten Pad
Description of Diagram: Shows the hardboard being inserted into the front edge of the pad, and pad buckles being fastened at the front and underneath the seat. The final step shows pressing fasteners in the seat back portion.
- Turn the hardboard over and insert it into the slot in the front edge of the pad.
- Fasten the pad buckles on the front edge of the pad and underneath the seat. Make sure you hear a “snap” on both sides.
- Press the fasteners together in the seat back portion of the pad.
- Assembly is now complete.
Battery Installation
For Toy Operation
Description of Diagram: Shows the underside of the toy bar with a battery compartment. Screws are shown being loosened, and two button cell batteries (LR44) are depicted.
Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door on the toy. Remove the battery compartment door. Dispose of the exhausted batteries safely.
Insert two, new button cell (LR44) alkaline batteries.
Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws.
When sounds become faint or stop, it's time for an adult to change the batteries!
For Soother Operation
Description of Diagram: Shows the bottom of the vibrations unit with a battery compartment. A screw is shown being loosened, and one "D" (LR20) alkaline battery is depicted.
Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the vibrations unit.
Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door. Lift to remove the battery compartment door.
Insert one “D” (LR20) alkaline battery.
Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
IMPORTANT! Low battery power causes this product to operate erratically: no vibrations and the product may not turn off. Remove and discard the battery and replace with a new “D” (LR20) alkaline battery.
Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types (alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)).
- Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
- Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
- If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Setup and Use
Seat Position Adjustment
Description of Diagram: Shows two images illustrating how to adjust the seat position. One shows a button on the side rail being pressed to lift the seat back (Upright), and another shows pressing the button to lower the seat back (Recline).
Upright: While pressing the button on each side rail, lift the seat back.
Recline: While pressing the button on each side rail, lower the seat back.
Kickstand Operation
Description of Diagram: Shows the kickstand being rotated outwards.
Rotate the kickstand out. Push down on the seat bottom to be sure the kickstand is in position.
Restraint System
Description of Diagram: Shows a child being placed in the seat, with the restraint pad positioned between the legs and the belts being fastened. A check is shown to ensure the system is secure.
Place your child in the seat. Position the restraint pad between your child's legs.
Fasten the restraint belts to each side of the restraint pad. Make sure you hear a “click” on both sides.
Check to be sure the restraint system is securely attached by pulling it away from your child. The restraint system should remain attached.
Adjusting the Belts
Description of Diagram: Illustrates how to tighten and loosen the restraint belts using buckles and loops.
To tighten the belts: Feed the anchored end of the restraint belt up through the buckle to form a loop. Pull the free end of the restraint belt.
To loosen the belts: Feed the free end of the restraint belt up through the buckle to form a loop. Enlarge the loop by pulling on the end of the loop toward the buckle. Pull the anchored end of the restraint belt to shorten the free end of the restraint belt.
Toy Bar Attachment
Description of Diagram: Shows the toy bar with plugs being inserted into sockets on the side rails. Toy straps are shown being attached to the toy bar straps. The power switch for vibrations is indicated.
Fit the plugs on each end of the toy bar into the sockets in each side rail.
Attach the toy straps to the toy bar straps.
Make sure your child is properly secured in the seat.
