  • Fall Hazard: Never use on any elevated surface, as the child's movement may cause the product to slide or tip over. Use only on a floor.

  • Always use the restraint system until the child is able to climb in and out of the product unassisted.
  • Never leave a child unattended.
  • Use the upright position only when the child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward.
  • Never use as a carrier or lift while a child is seated. Never use the toy bar as a handle.

Assembly Instructions

Before assembly and each use, inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken. Contact Fisher-Price® for replacement parts and instructions if needed. Never substitute parts.

Step 1-2: Assemble Frame

1. Position each side rail so the button faces outward. Insert the seat back tube into the socket in each side rail. While pressing the tabs on the ends of the seat back tube, continue to insert it into the side rail sockets until the tabs "snap" into place. Ensure you hear a "snap" on each side. Pull the seat back tube up to confirm it is secure.

2. Fit the cross brace between the side rails as shown.

Step 3-4: Attach Cross Brace

3. Insert a screw through each side rail and into the ends of the cross brace.

4. Fit a retainer with lock nut onto the end of the screw and to the inside of a side rail. Tighten the screw. Hint: If the lock nut has fallen out of the retainer during shipment, fit it into the hexagonal hole with the rounded side facing out. Repeat this procedure for the other end of the cross brace.

Step 5-6: Attach Front Tube

5. Locate the hole in each side rail. With the vibrations unit facing forward, fit the front tube to the side rails. Hold the front tube in place.

6. Insert a #8 x 1¼" (3 cm) screw through the outside of each side rail and into the ends of the front tube. IMPORTANT: Follow step 7 carefully to completely secure the front tube.

Step 7-8: Secure Front Tube and Attach Kickstand

7. Fit a retainer with lock nut onto the end of the screw and to the inside of a side rail. Tighten the screw. Repeat for the other end of the front tube.

8. Position the assembly face down. While pressing the tab on each end of the kickstand, insert the kickstand into the receptacle in each side rail. Push until the tabs "snap" into place. Pull the kickstand to ensure it is secure.

Step 9-10: Attach Pad and Complete Assembly

9. Turn the assembly upright. Fit the upper pocket on the pad onto the seat back tube. Fasten the pad buckles around each side rail.

10. Turn the hardboard over and insert it into the slot in the front edge of the pad. Fasten the pad buckles on the front edge of the pad and underneath the seat, ensuring a "snap" on both sides. Press the fasteners together in the seat back portion of the pad. Assembly is now complete.

Battery Installation

For Toy Operation (2 x LR44 batteries):

  • Loosen the screws on the toy's battery compartment door. Remove the door. Dispose of exhausted batteries safely.
  • Insert two new LR44 alkaline button cell batteries.
  • Replace the compartment door and tighten the screws.
  • When sounds become faint or stop, it's time for an adult to change the batteries.

For Vibrations Unit Operation (1 x D LR20 battery):

  • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the vibrations unit.
  • Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door. Lift to remove the door.
  • Insert one "D" (LR20) alkaline battery.
  • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
  • IMPORTANT: Low battery power can cause erratic operation (no vibrations, product may not turn off). Remove and discard the old battery, and replace with a new "D" (LR20) alkaline battery.

We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.

Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste. Check your local authority for recycling advice.

Battery Safety Information

  • In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause chemical burns or damage the product. To avoid battery leakage:
  • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types (alkaline, standard, rechargeable).
  • Insert batteries as indicated, observing correct polarity.
  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries safely.
  • Never short-circuit battery terminals.
  • Use only recommended or equivalent battery types.
  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries before charging.
  • Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.

Setup and Use

Seat Position Adjustment

To change the seat position:

  • Upright: While pressing the button on each side rail, lift the seat back.
  • Recline: While pressing the button on each side rail, lower the seat back.

Kickstand Operation

Rotate the kickstand out. Push down on the seat bottom to ensure the kickstand is in position.

Restraint System

  1. Place your child in the seat. Position the restraint pad between your child's legs.
  2. Fasten the restraint belts to each side of the restraint pad. Ensure you hear a "click" on both sides.
  3. Check that the restraint system is securely attached by pulling it away from your child. It should remain attached.

Adjusting Belts

To tighten belts: Feed the anchored end of the restraint belt up through the buckle to form a loop. Pull the free end of the belt.

To loosen belts: Feed the free end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop. Enlarge the loop by pulling on its end. Pull the anchored end to shorten the free end.

Toy Bar Attachment

  • Fit the plugs on each end of the toy bar into the sockets in each side rail.
  • Attach the toy straps to the toy bar straps.
  • Ensure your child is properly secured in the seat.

Storage and Care

Pad Care

  • The pad is machine washable. Wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remove promptly.
  • To remove the pad: Unfasten buckles around side rails. Turn seat face down, unfasten pad buckles. Turn seat upright, remove hardboard from pad slot. Pull front and back of seat back area apart to lift pad off. Refer to Assembly steps 9 and 10 to replace the pad.

Frame, Toy Bar, and Toys Care

  • Wipe clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. Do not use bleach or harsh/abrasive cleaners. Rinse with water to remove residue. Do not immerse the frame, toy bar, or toys in water.
