Connection
Use the passive PoE adapter to simultaneously supply power and transmit data to a passive PoE device.
Diagram: The setup illustrates the connection of a passive PoE adapter. It shows passive PoE devices (represented by icons for an IP Camera, Access Point (AP), and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)) connecting to the 'POE' port of the Passive PoE Adapter. The adapter's 'LAN' port connects to an Ethernet device, such as a switch or gateway. An AC Power Cord is plugged into the adapter and then into a wall outlet.
Note: Before connecting a passive PoE device, please check the required voltage in its product manual.
