General Notice

Use the two-way radio in an environment with temperatures between 0-40°C; otherwise, it may damage your two-way radio. It can be operated under 2000m altitude.

Hereby, Radtel declares that the radio equipment type two-way radio is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU.

Adapter and Battery Information

For Adapter: Shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

For Battery: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

SAR Information

For this device, Head SAR and Body SAR were performed with the device configured in positions according to EN62209-2:2010. Face-up SAR was performed with the device 25mm from the phantom, and Body SAR was performed with the device 0mm from the phantom. Body SAR was also performed with the headset and belt clip attached and without.

FCC Compliance Statements

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  • This device may not cause harmful interference, and
  • This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

This radio complies with IEEE and ICNIRP exposure limits for general population/uncontrolled RF exposure environment at operating duty factors of up to 50% and is authorized by the FCC for general population/uncontrolled use only. An appropriate warning label is affixed to all units. In order to comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum distance of 2.5 cm must be maintained when held-to-face, and body-worn operations are restricted to the approved original accessories (belt clip), with a minimum distance of 0 cm. Do not use this device when the antenna shows obvious damage.

Licensing Information

Use of this radio in the USA is subject to the rules & regulations of the FCC. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Radtel may void the user authority granted by the FCC to operate this radio and should not be made. To comply with FCC requirements, transmitter adjustments should be made only by or under the supervision of a person certified as technically qualified to perform transmitter maintenance and repairs in the private land mobile and fixed services, as certified by an organization representative of the user of those services. Replacement of any transmitter component (crystal, semiconductor, etc.) not authorized by the FCC equipment authorization for this radio could violate FCC rules.
