How to Toast

1. Plug the toaster into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Place bread or other suitable food items into the food slots.
3. Select the desired toast shade using the Shade Selector dial.
4. Press the Bread Lifter down. Note: The Bread Lifter will not latch down unless the toaster is plugged in.
5. The toast will pop up automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.

Note on Toaster Pastries: Do not heat toaster pastries (such as Pop-Tarts®) in this toaster. Use a toaster oven broiler instead. Cleaning

Note: If the toaster is used daily, the crumb tray should be cleaned weekly.

1. Unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely.
2. Slide out the crumb tray. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth, then slide it back into place.
3. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or metal scouring pads, as they may scratch the toaster's surface.
