Product Layout and Features

The Lofree DOT OE914 features a compact 84-key layout. The top view displays the keyboard keys, including a function row and navigation cluster. The bottom view reveals the primary controls and ports:

Operation and Connectivity

Mode Switching

Use the sliding switch located on the bottom of the keyboard to select the desired operating mode:

WLS: Activates 2.4G wireless mode.
OFF: Powers off the keyboard.
CAB: Activates Bluetooth wireless mode.

Wired Mode

Connect the keyboard to your computer using the included USB Type-C cable. The keyboard will automatically function in wired mode, and charging will commence if the battery is low.

2.4G Wireless Mode

Slide the mode switch to WLS.
Remove the 2.4G USB receiver from its storage slot on the keyboard.
Plug the 2.4G receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
Press Fn + 4. The 2.4G indicator light will blink slowly during pairing and become steady once the connection is successfully established.

Note: Multimedia functions may not be fully supported on macOS devices when using the 2.4G connection mode.

Bluetooth Wireless Mode

Slide the mode switch to CAB.
Press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to select Bluetooth channel 1, 2, or 3 respectively. This allows pairing with multiple devices.
On your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone), enable Bluetooth, search for available devices, and select DOT 2@Lofree from the list.
The Bluetooth indicator light will blink slowly during the pairing process and will become steady once the connection is successfully established.

System Switching

Use the system switch on the keyboard to optimize performance for your operating system. This ensures proper functionality of special keys and shortcuts.

Mac/iOS: Set the switch to the Mac/iOS position. Multimedia keys and shortcuts will function according to macOS conventions.
Windows/Android: Set the switch to the Win/Android position. Multimedia keys and shortcuts will function according to Windows/Android conventions.

Charging and Battery Indicators

Charging

To charge the keyboard, connect the included USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and to a power source, such as a computer's USB port or a USB power adapter. The charging indicator light will be red while charging. It will turn off once the battery is fully charged.

Battery Status Indicators

The keyboard provides visual cues for battery level:

Low Battery (< 20%): The indicator light flashes red.
20% - 40%: The indicator light is steady red.
40% - 70%: The indicator light is steady yellow.
Above 70%: The indicator light is steady green.

During the charging process, the power indicator may breathe white, and turn steady white when fully charged, depending on the specific indicator behavior.

Lighting Controls

The Lofree DOT OE914 features adjustable backlighting for enhanced visibility and aesthetics.

Light Effect Mode

Press Fn + Left Arrow ← or Right Arrow → to cycle through the available lighting effects. There are 7 distinct lighting effects, with a steady light being the default setting.

Brightness Adjustment

Adjust the brightness of the backlighting using the following key combinations:

Dim Brightness: Short press Fn + F5.
Increase Brightness: Short press Fn + F6.

There are 4 levels of brightness: 0%, 40%, 70%, and 100%.

Multimedia and Function Keys

The keyboard includes dedicated multimedia and function keys, accessible by pressing the Fn key in combination with the F1-F12 keys. The functions may vary slightly between operating systems.
