User Manual
Name and Function of Each Part
This section details the components of the ELECOM M-CCP1BB Wireless Mouse:
- 1. Left button: Primary click function.
- 2. Right button: Secondary click function.
- 3. Tilt wheel: Allows for vertical scrolling and horizontal scrolling by tilting left or right. Requires ELECOM Mouse Assistant for horizontal scrolling on Windows®.
- 4. "Back" button: Operates the "Back" function in web browsers. Requires ELECOM Mouse Assistant for Macintosh use.
- 5. LED light: Indicates status: blinks green for pairing standby, solid red when charging, solid green for a fixed time when power is on, blinks red when battery is low.
- 6. Connector cover: Protects the charging port.
- 7. Micro USB connector for charging: Port for connecting the charging cable.
- 8. Pairing button: Used to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
- 9. Power Switch: Turns the mouse ON (green side visible) or OFF.
- 10. Optical sensor: Tracks movement. ⚠️ Please note that looking directly into the sensor light may hurt your eyes.
- 11. Clip: Allows the mouse to be clipped to bags, pockets, or laptops for portability.
Using the Mouse
When using the mouse:
Attach the cap to the rubber at the back end of the mouse before use.
Storing the mouse:
Insert the mouse into the cap to store it. You can clip it to your bag, breast pocket, or PC and carry it around.
Charging
1. Open the connector cover.
2. Connect the USB [A] connector of the USB charger cable to a PC's USB port.
3. If the PC is not on, turn it on.
4. Connect the USB [micro-B] connector of the included USB charger cable to the product's micro USB charging connector. The LED light turns on in red (⚡ Charging), and charging begins. When charging is finished, the light turns off.
⚠️ If the LED lamp does not stop blinking even after the prescribed charging time (approximately 3.5 hours), remove the charging USB cable and stop charging. Otherwise, this can cause heating, explosions, or fires.
Turning the Power On
Slide the power switch to the ON position (the green side). The LED light is lit green for a fixed time (? Power On). ? When remaining battery is low, the LED blinks red for a fixed time.
Power-saving mode:
When the mouse is left untouched for a fixed period of time while the power is ON, it automatically shifts to power-saving mode. The mouse is released from the power-saving mode when it is touched. * Mouse operation may be unstable for a few seconds after returning from the power-saving mode.
Pairing with a PC
Pairing involves registering Bluetooth® devices (this product and your device) with each other and authorizing a connection. This section covers standard Bluetooth® functions for Windows® and Macintosh. Please read respective manuals for unique functions.
Please carry out the pairing operation using your current mouse or touchpad on your device.
Windows® 10
- Click the "Start" button (▶️ Start) on the lower left of the screen, and click the "Settings" icon (⚙️ Settings).
- Click "Devices" on the "Windows Settings" screen.
- Click "Bluetooth & other devices", and then click "Add Bluetooth or other device".
- Click "Bluetooth".
- When the "Add a device" window appears, use a pointed item to press the pairing button (at the bottom of the device) for 2 to 3 seconds, and then release. The LED light blinks green (pairing mode activated).
- Click "CAPCLIP PRO" to start pairing.
- When it changes to "Connected" (✔️ Connected), click "Done" (✔️ Done). The product is added to "Mice, keyboards, pens" and displays "Connected". Pairing is complete.
macOS Catalina (10.15)
- From the Apple menu, click "System Settings..." to display the system environment settings screen.
- Click "Bluetooth" to display the "Bluetooth" environment settings screen.
- When searching for the device, use a pointed item to press the pairing button (at the bottom of the device) for 2 to 3 seconds, and then release. The LED light blinks green (pairing mode activated).
- Select "CAPCLIP PRO", and click "Connect" to start pairing.
- Pairing is complete when "Connected" pops up on the screen, and the status of "CAPCLIP PRO" is "Connected".
When keyboard setup assistant appears:
Depending on the environment, "Keyboard Setup Assistant" may appear. In this case, click the "Close" (❌ Close) button on the top left to end it. This is normal.
ELECOM Mouse Assistant
Download "ELECOM Mouse Assistant" from the ELECOM website to use its button assignment and high-speed scrolling functions.

Safety Precautions
Please read these precautions carefully before using the product.
DANGER
- Please use the included charging cable and follow ELECOM's charging instructions. Using other cables or incorrect procedures may lead to overheating, leakage, or explosion.
- Do not tamper with or attempt to disassemble the product. This may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not use this product if it is leaking. If the internal battery leaks, stop use immediately, as this can cause overheating and/or damage.
WARNING
- Immediately stop using the product if you notice anything unusual, such as leaking battery, odd color changes, warping, or other abnormalities. Continued use may cause overheating or explosion.
- If liquid from the product contacts your body or clothing, flush and wash the area with clean water. If liquid from the internal battery contacts your skin, it may cause skin damage. If liquid enters your eyes, do not rub; flush immediately with clean water and seek medical attention.
- Use only at the specified rated voltage. Using outside this range may cause overheating, electric shock, or injury.
- If foreign objects (water, metal chips, etc.) enter the product, stop use immediately and turn it off. Continued use may cause fire or electric shock.
- If the product emits smoke or an unusual smell, stop use immediately, turn it off, and disconnect the charging cable. Contact the retailer.
- Do not drop or hit the product. If damaged, stop use, turn it off, and contact the retailer. Continued use may cause fire or electric shock.
- Do not put the product in fire; it may burst, causing fire or injury.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the product yourself. This may cause fire, electric shock, or product damage.
- Do not use the mouse for purposes other than with PCs and video game systems.
- ⚠️ Do not look directly at the optical sensor light, as it may cause eye damage.
- Do not use with devices significantly affected by product malfunction.
- Using on transparent or highly reflective surfaces may cause the optical sensor to malfunction and cursor movement to become unstable.
- Dispose of the product and battery according to local ordinances and laws.
Cautions for Wireless Equipment
This product uses the 2.4 GHz band. Be aware of potential interference with other 2.4 GHz devices (medical equipment, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Before use, check for nearby "radio stations" operating on the same frequency. If interference occurs, move the product or stop using it.
- Do not use in hospitals or areas where radio waves are prohibited, as they may affect electronic and medical devices (e.g., pacemakers).
- Using a wireless mouse on aircraft is prohibited by aviation law due to potential interference with flight safety. Turn off the mouse before boarding and do not use it during the flight.
CAUTION
- Do not place the product in environments exposed to direct sunlight, high temperatures (near heaters), moisture, condensation, vibration, strong magnetic fields, or dust.
