Part 4: Installation Steps
Step 1: Assemble the frame
Assemble the main frame structure. This involves connecting the frame pieces using four M5X25 screws.
Diagram Description: Shows the assembly of the rectangular frame using four M5X25 screws at the corners.
Step 2: Install the X-axis assembly
Install the X-axis assembly onto the main frame. Ensure the guide rail passes through the middle of the three rollers. If installation proves difficult, adjust the offset wheel. It is recommended to loosen the distance between the upper and lower guide wheels appropriately for smooth movement.
Step 3: Install the support foot assembly and the Y-axis tank chain
Attach the support feet to the frame using M5X15 and M5X8 screws. Install the Y-axis tank chain using M3X6 screws.
Note: After assembly, if the four support feet are not aligned, slightly loosen their screws, align them, and then retighten the screws.
Diagram Description: Shows the attachment of four support feet (using M5X15 and M5X8 screws) and the Y-axis tank chain (using M3X6 screws) to the assembled frame.
Step 4: Install the X-axis tank chain
Install the X-axis tank chain. Secure it using M3X6 screws.
Diagram Description: Shows the X-axis tank chain being attached to the machine structure with M3X6 screws.
Step 5: Install the timing belt
Install the timing belt. Use M5 x 6 T-shaped combination nuts to secure the belt.
Diagram Description: Illustrates the routing of the timing belt and its connection using M5 x 6 T-shaped combination nuts.
Step 6: Laser installation
Step 6.1: Laser installation (for 5W and 10W models)
Mount the laser module for the 5W and 10W models using M4X12 screws.
Diagram Description: Shows the laser module being mounted onto the X-axis carriage using M4X12 screws.
Step 6.2: Mounting laser (for 20W)
Mount the laser module for the 20W model.
Diagram Description: Shows the laser module being mounted onto the X-axis carriage for the 20W model.
Step 7: Install the cable
Connect the necessary cables to the machine. The diagram indicates connections to a "blue terminal" and numbered ports (1 through 5) for various components.
Diagram Description: A series of close-up images (1-5) showing cable connections, including a blue terminal, and an overall view of cable routing on the machine.
Step 8: Adjust the eccentric wheel
Use a wrench to turn the eccentric nut. This adjustment controls the tightness of the guide wheel and the guide rail for optimal performance.
TIPS: How to determine the tightness of eccentric nuts?
To check the tightness: Ensure the bracket does not shake. Lift one end of the machine to a 45-degree angle relative to the horizontal plane. Release the X-axis or Y-axis bracket from this elevated position. If the bracket slides smoothly and consistently to the end, the tightness is considered suitable.
