Use the TEMP +/- buttons to adjust the desired temperature. Pressing the button once increases/decreases the temperature by 1°C. Holding the button down increases/decreases it more rapidly.
Fan Speed Selection
Press the FAN button to cycle through fan speeds: LOW, MED, HI, AUTO. In AUTO mode, the air conditioner automatically adjusts fan speed based on room temperature.
Air Flow Direction Adjustment
Use the SWING button to adjust the vertical flap. Pressing it repeatedly cycles through different flap positions (Pos.1 to Pos.4). Pressing it again stops the swing function. Use the EXTRA FUNCTION button to select Pos.2 and Pos.3.
Cautions:
- Turn off the unit before adjusting the flap by hand.
- Avoid adjusting all vertical louvers to the left or right when humidity is high to prevent condensate water.
- Do not keep the horizontal flap in a downward position for extended periods in COOL or DRY mode to avoid condensate water.
Timer On/Off Operation
Press the TIMER button to select TIMER ON, TIMER OFF, or TIMER ON-OFF mode. Use the TEMP +/- buttons to set the desired time (0.5-hour increments up to 12 hours, then 1-hour increments up to 24 hours). Press CONFIRM to set the timer. Press CANCEL to cancel the timer setting.
POWER/SOFT Operation
Use this function for rapid heating or cooling. Access it via the EXTRA FUNCTION button.

Troubleshooting
Normal Performance Inspection
- System does not restart immediately: The system has a 3-minute protection delay to prevent damage.
- Noise is heard: Swishing or gurgling noise is normal due to refrigerant flow. Cracking noise may occur due to temperature changes. A loud noise from airflow might indicate a dirty air filter.
- Smells are generated: May be due to smells from furniture, paint, or cigarettes circulating in the air.
- Mist or steam are blown out: This can occur during COOL or DRY operation due to sudden cooling of indoor air.
Dry Mode Fan Speed
In DRY mode, fan speed may be fixed at LOW when room temperature is lower than the set temperature +2°C.
Poor Cooling
Check power plug, power failure, blown fuse, dirty air filter, obstacles at inlet/outlet, incorrect temperature setting, open doors/windows, direct sunlight, or excessive heat sources/people in the room.
Multiple Check
Ensure the power plug is inserted, there is no power failure, the fuse is intact, the air filter is clean, there are no obstacles, the temperature is set correctly, doors/windows are closed, and direct sunlight is managed.
