- FAN: Operates only the fan, without cooling or heating. Temperature setting is disabled. SLEEP operation is not available in FAN mode.
Timer On/Off Operation
Set desired ON or OFF times using the TIMER button and TEMP+/- buttons. The time can be adjusted in 0.5-hour increments up to 12 hours, and then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. Confirm the timer setting with the CANCEL/CONFIRM button.
Self Clean Operation
The Self Clean function cleans the evaporator and condenser. Activate by pressing the Self Clean button. The display will show "CL". The function runs for 20-30 minutes and exits automatically. Pressing other buttons can exit the function early.
POWER/SOFT Operation
POWER Operation: For rapid heating or cooling. Access via EXTRA FUNCTION button.
QUIET Operation: For silent operation. Press the QUIET button. Press again to cancel.
Note: POWER operation may lead to uneven temperature distribution. QUIET operation may result in less effective cooling or heating.
Emergency operation and test operation
Emergency Operation: Use when the remote controller is defective or lost. The system automatically selects operation mode based on room temperature. Press the emergency switch once to start.
Test operation: Use when room temperature is below 16°C. Press and hold the test operation switch for more than 5 seconds until "Pi Pi" sound is heard. Cooling operation starts with HI fan speed. Test operation ends automatically after 30 minutes.
Comfortable SLEEP
The SLEEP function adjusts the temperature automatically for comfortable sleeping. It can be set for 8 hours and cannot be adjusted further. If TIMER function is also set, the SLEEP function will be cancelled if TIMER is reset.
- COOL, DRY mode: Temperature increases by 1°C after the first hour, and by another 1°C after the second hour. The unit then runs for 6 more hours before stopping.
- HEAT mode: Temperature decreases by 2°C after the first hour, and by another 2°C after the second hour. After 3 more hours, it increases by 1°C and runs for 3 more hours before stopping.
- AUTO mode: Operates according to the selected sleep mode.
- FAN mode: No SLEEP function available.
Note: If TIMER function is set, SLEEP function cannot be set up. If SLEEP is set and TIMER is reset, SLEEP is cancelled.
Power Failure Resume Function
After a power failure, the unit will run automatically after a 3-minute delay for compressor protection.
Healthy airflow Operation
This function adjusts louvers for optimal airflow. Press the EXTRA FUNCTION button to cycle through positions (upward, present, downward) and confirm with CANCEL/CONFIRM.
Note: Do not adjust the grille by hand. If the grille operates incorrectly, stop and restart the unit.
HEALTH Operation
This function utilizes UV-C light sterilization to remove harmful microorganisms. Activate by pressing the FUNCTION button until the UV indicator flashes, then press CANCEL/CONFIRM. It is recommended to use this function for 1-2 hours daily.
Attention:
- Do not look directly at the UV lamp or touch it while it is on. Turn off the sterilizing function before opening the panel.
- A tinged blue light may appear near the air conditioning inlet when the sterilizing function is on.
- The UV lamp operates only when the internal fan is running and the health function is turned on.
Maintenance
For Smart Use of The Air Conditioner
Remote Controller
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use glass cleaner or chemical cloths.
Indoor Body
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a neutral detergent diluted with water. Wring out the cloth before wiping.
Do not use the following for cleaning:
- Gasoline, benzine, thinner, or cleanser may damage the unit's coating.
- Hot water over 40°C (104°F) may cause discoloration or deformation.
Air Filter cleaning
- Open the inlet grille by pulling it upward.
- Remove the filter by pushing up the center tab and pulling downward.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner or by washing with water. Dry completely in the shade.
- Attach the filter with the "FRONT" indication facing forward. Ensure it is securely fixed.
- Close the inlet grille.
NOTE: Air purifying filter is an optional part.
Attach the standard air filter
The white side of the photocatalyst air purifying filter should face outwards, and the black side should face the unit. For the bacteria-killing medium air purifying filter, the green side faces outwards, and the white side faces the unit.
