Moto Care

Extend your warranty coverage up to three years with Moto Care, which includes features like accidental damage protection. Visit: motorola.com/motocare (U.S. only, except P.R.).

Inserting a Physical SIM Card

Follow these steps to insert your SIM card:

  1. With the phone closed and the external display facing down, insert the SIM tool into the SIM card tray hole to pop out the tray. Ensure you use a standard Nano SIM card and do not cut it.
  2. Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts down, and the notch aligned with the card tray, then gently push the tray into the slot.

eSIM Option: Your phone may also support an eSIM. Contact your service provider for details on activating and using it.

Powering On and Off

  • To turn on: Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns on, then follow the prompts.
  • To turn off: Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Up button (⬆️) at the same time.

Taking Care of Your Phone

To ensure optimal performance and warranty service, please follow these care instructions:

  • Screen Protector: Do not use third-party screen protectors. The pre-installed Motorola screen protector is designed for the foldable display. Using others may affect screen sensitivity, cause unresponsiveness, or damage the screen, potentially voiding the warranty. Contact an authorized service center for replacements if the protector warps or separates.
  • Physical Damage: Avoid puncturing or applying excessive force to the main display. Ensure no obstructions (cards, coins, keys) are between the screens or hinges before closing the phone. Do not press the middle of the screen with excessive force.
  • Liquids and Debris: Avoid exposing your phone to water, coffee, or other liquids. Keep it away from small particles like grit.
  • Magnets: ⚠️ Keep this product with magnets at least 20cm (8 inches) away from medical devices (e.g., pacemakers) and magnetic media (credit cards, ID cards).
  • Crease: The crease at the bend of the main display and any faint noise when opening the phone are part of the design and do not affect durability.
