Using Your HFX App for Your Trial

How to download the HFX App

  1. Click your App Store icon. ?
  2. Tap the Search icon on the bottom right side of your screen.
  3. In the search bar type, “HFX” and then tap Search.
  4. Tap on the HFX App and tap GET to download the app.

You will need to know your existing Apple ID and password to download the HFX App from the Apple App Store.

Get familiar with your HFX App Home screen

The HFX App home screen displays key information and controls:

  1. Stim ON/OFF Button: Controls the stimulation status.
  2. Current Program Setting: Shows the active program and level (e.g., P1 L6).
  3. Change Program Button: Allows selection of different programs.
  4. Start Assessment: Initiates a therapy assessment.
  5. Battery Status: Indicates the battery level of the stimulator.
  6. Bluetooth Connection Status: Shows the connection status between the app and the stimulator.
  7. My Progress Tab: Navigates to your progress tracking.
  8. Favourites Tab: Accesses saved favorite programs.
  9. Menu Tab: Opens the main menu for further options.

How to change programs

Adjusting your HFX App programs is straightforward:

  1. Tap the Change Program Button on the lower right of the circle.
  2. To change your program setting, scroll through the program carousel until the circle is over the program you want.
  3. To change your level setting, scroll through each level on the level wheel until the level you want is selected.
  4. Tap Done to save your changes.

Trial guidelines

  • Keep your mobile phone within close distance to your trial device because they will communicate.
  • You will work closely with your Nevro Care Team to adjust your program settings as needed.
  • Check the Stim ON/OFF Button on your HFX App twice a day to confirm your trial device is ON.

How to complete an assessment

Completing an assessment helps optimize your therapy:

  • When you're within your assessment window, the Start Assessment button will turn yellow.
