Charging tips
- Charging times vary based on usage frequency and settings.
- If the Charging Coil has an insufficient connection (indicated by Antenna Strength Indicator lights), slowly reposition the Charging Coil and wait 3 seconds for the indicator to update. Repeat as needed.
- If charging time is shorter than expected, ensure your device is turned ON via the HFX App. The Stim ON Button (1) on the Home screen will be illuminated.
Charging reminders
- You can receive stimulation while charging.
- Do not charge the implant while the charger is plugged into the wall. Always remove the power adapter before pressing the Charge Start Button.
- After charging, plug the charger back into the power adapter and then into the wall to prepare for the next session.
- Recharge your device regularly to establish a routine.
- The device site may become warm during charging. If you experience pain or discomfort, stop charging and contact your Nevro Care Team at +61 488845285.
- If charging times increase significantly, contact your Nevro Care Team at +61 488845285.
How to prepare for charging
Place the center of the circular Charging Coil over the top of your device. The top of your device should be centered on the Charging Coil.
[Illustration showing the correct placement of the charging coil over the implanted device]
How to start charging
- Press the Charge Start Button. The Charger Battery Level Indicator light will illuminate. The charger will beep and search for your device. The beeping continues until a connection is made.
- If no connection is made within 10 seconds, you will hear one long beep, and the charger will shut OFF. Reposition the Charging Coil and press the Charge Start Button again.
- A connection is made when the outer ring of the Antenna Strength Indicator appears. More rings indicate a better connection. If only the middle dot is illuminated, the connection is poor, and charging will not occur.
- When the charger is correctly positioned, the Battery Level Indicator will light up.
If the connection is insufficient or lost, reposition the blue Charging Coil slowly and repeat the charging steps. Charging is in progress when the Battery Level Indicator and Antenna Strength Indicator circles are lit. The number of lit dots on the Battery Level Indicator increases as charging progresses. If the connection is lost, your charger will beep. Reposition the Charging Coil and repeat the steps. If only the inner dot is illuminated on the Antenna Strength Indicator, you are not connected.

- Use your HFX App to confirm your device is turned ON.
- Plug your charger into the wall socket to ensure it is ready for the next charging session. Connect the power adapter to the charger's Power Adaptor Port, then plug the adapter into the wall socket. The orange light indicates the charger is recharging; this is complete when the orange light turns OFF.
