Care and Maintenance

• Clean regularly with normal detergent and warm water.
• Always dry the sink after use and buff with a soft cloth to prevent limescale buildup.
• Clean the sink once or twice a month using a nonabrasive cleanser like Barkeeper's Friend and a soft sponge, scrubbing in the direction of the natural grain.
• Never let soap or cleaners dry on the sink surface, as additives can affect the finish.
• Avoid bleach solutions, as they can cause surface pitting on stainless steel.
• Never use steel wool pads, as they can damage the sink's surface and cause discoloration.
• Minor surface scratches are normal and can often be removed with a proprietary stainless steel cleaner.
• Using rinse grids can reduce scratches on the sink bottom.

Ruvati Limited Lifetime Warranty

Ruvati sinks are manufactured to high quality standards and carry a limited lifetime warranty for residential use. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. To make a claim, a valid proof of purchase is required. The warranty is for the original purchaser only and does not cover shipping or labor costs. It applies only to residential installations. Ruvati reserves the right to inspect the product and its installation before replacement. If an identical product is unavailable, Ruvati may replace it with a similar product. Accessories like rinse grids, cutting boards, and strainers are not covered.

This warranty relates to manufacturing, material, or workmanship defects in Ruvati stainless steel kitchen sinks for domestic use in the United States. It does not cover:

• Damage from failure to follow care and maintenance instructions.
• Normal wear and tear, scratches, or accidental damage.
• Faults from improper use or installation.
• Defects in accessories, strainers, and rinse grids.

Incidental or consequential damages are excluded. No additional warranties, express or implied, are given, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states may have different regulations regarding limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages.

Attention Installer

Please read this guide carefully before installation. Ruvati recommends professional installation. Sink edges can be sharp; wear cut-resistant gloves. Inspect the sink and box contents immediately upon delivery. Contact Ruvati Support for any shipping damages or missing parts. Templates are guides; ensure proper cutout alignment. Ruvati is not responsible for improper installation or damages. Follow all local plumbing and building codes.

Tools Required:

• Plumbers Putty
• Drill with Depth Stop
• Sink Mounting Clips
• Silicon Caulk
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Jigsaw or Keyhole Saw
• Pencil
• Sink Cut-Out Template

Installation Instructions

1. Place the template on the countertop, ensuring proper clearance from the cabinet.
2. Trace the template line. Adjust the line based on your desired sink "reveal" (see diagram below) and cut along the line.
3. Turn the countertop upside down. Mark evenly-spaced positions for mounting clip anchors. Ruvati recommends 3 clips for longer sides (20"+) and 2 for shorter sides.
4. Drill holes for anchors as shown in the diagram. Use a 3/8" drill bit with a 1/2" depth stop. Secure anchors with glue if needed and attach mounting clips with screws.
5. Clean the countertop underside and sink rim. Apply silicone caulk evenly around the sink rim.
6. Place the sink into the countertop opening. Tighten screws until mounting clips are snug.
7. Check sink alignment with the countertop opening and adjust if necessary.
8. Tighten clips evenly without overtightening. Remove excess silicone.

Sink Reveal Options:

1/4" Reveal (Recommended): The countertop edge sits approximately 1/4" back from the sink edge, exposing the sink rim.

Flush Fit (OK): The countertop meets the sink edge, fitting flush with the sink bowl.

Overhang (Don't): The countertop extends over the sink edge on all sides. Avoid this.

Rust Spots?

Ruvati sinks are made of T-304 stainless steel and cannot rust. If you see rust spots, they are likely from external iron particles. Clean these spots with Barkeeper's Friend and a dish scrubbing sponge, scrubbing in the direction of the grain. Use a toothbrush for corners and edges. Rinse thoroughly.
