MTP3000 Series TETRA Radios

Data Sheet

MTP3000 Series

Designed to perform in the harshest and most demanding environments, day after day.

The MTP3000 series radios feature a rugged design, deliver loud and clear audio, and are equipped with essential features for safe and effective operations. The MTP3500 model offers a simple keypad, while the MTP3550 features a full keypad.

Both the MTP3500 and MTP3550 models are fully featured radios for public safety and mission-critical users, with a man-down sensor, optional high-power transmission, vibration alert, secure Bluetooth® connectivity, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) capability, including GPS and BeiDou or GLONASS.

They also feature IP65, IP66, and IP67 protection against dust and water ingress, broadband compatibility of 350-470 MHz or 800 MHz, and an optional RFID hardware.

Key Features

  • [IP65, IP66, IP67 rating]
  • [Wideband 350-470 MHz or 800 MHz]
  • [GPS and BeiDou or GLONASS]
  • [Fall alert]
  • [Vibration alert]

Secure

Enhancing user safety and communications.

The MTP3000 series radios are optimized to deliver excellent audio performance in all types of noisy and demanding situations. Audio through the speaker and accessories is clear even at full volume, and the user can be heard over background noise.

High receiver sensitivity and the option of high transmission power help the MTP3000 series radios maintain communications in the most demanding situations: long-distance, in urban areas, and inside buildings.

The fall alert sensor detects if a radio has been static for a preset time or if it has been tilted beyond a preset angle. The fall alert function is especially useful for protecting frontline firefighters, but also for isolated security personnel or industrial employees working in hazardous environments.

Rugged

Durable connectors and rugged design.

The MTP3000 series radios are equipped with two robust connectors that provide corrosion resistance, conductivity, and low insertion resistance. The side connector offers excellent pull resistance. The bottom connector is protected within the radio. It features a self-cleaning mechanism to resist dust and dirt, but is also easy to clean if necessary.

With IP65, IP66, and IP67 protection, the MTP3000 series radios can withstand immersion in one meter of water for 30 minutes or a high-pressure water jet from a fire hose. A range of rugged and effective audio and power accessories is also available.

Easy to Use

Intuitive software and hardware features.

The two-knob interface adapts to users coming from an analog radio. Users can quickly navigate through the simple interface of the large transflective display, which is easy to see in both low light and direct sunlight.

Vibration alert for incoming calls and messages will allow officers or workers to remain hidden or discreet when staying silent is important.

Easily identify different radios for different users, groups, coverage areas, or tasks with optional colored identification bands around the antenna.

[Optional color identification bands for different tasks, coverage areas, or shifts]
