Motorola APX 3000 P25 Covert Portable Radio
Secure and Discreet Communication for Public Safety and Special Operations
Covert Communication Without Compromise
The Motorola APX 3000 P25 portable radio is engineered for undercover officers and special operations personnel who require secure, discreet communication while blending seamlessly into their surroundings. It enables instant, covert connectivity from a backpack, bag, or beneath clothing, ensuring continuous coverage in challenging environments like buildings and streets.
The APX 3000 P25 TDMA-capable radio allows personnel to remain inconspicuous and in contact, staying out of sight. Its slim, lightweight design, coupled with Mission Critical Wireless accessories, provides high security, excellent flexibility, and easy modularity.
Designed to Be Discreet
The APX 3000 is purpose-built for covert operations. Traditional elements like the keypad, display, speaker, and microphone have been removed to create a slim, compact radio that operates exclusively via accessories. This design ensures that even if the accessory connection is lost, the radio's communications remain secure and do not compromise the mission. To further minimize detection, the radio features downplayed indicator lights and no onboard audio output, ensuring officers are never inadvertently revealed.
Motorola Solutions offers a range of covert accessories for the APX 3000, including a three-wire surveillance earpiece and a Mission Critical Wireless Covert Audio Accessory kit. These kits feature wireless earbud headphone options that closely resemble commercial devices, allowing undercover teams to operate with enhanced discretion.
Blend Into Your Surroundings
The high-powered APX 3000 facilitates discreet communication for officers and agents, avoiding unwanted attention or distractions. A wide selection of Mission Critical Wireless accessories allows users to choose their preferred method of wearing the radio – on a belt, in a backpack, bag, or purse, on the body, or carried by a team member up to 30 feet away.
The comfortable, covert surveillance earpiece is ideal for personnel on protective detail. Mission Critical Wireless Bluetooth® earbud headphones offer a discreet appearance, resembling standard phone or music earbuds. A flexible antenna can be attached to the body and concealed under clothing, and an optional Mission Critical Wireless push-to-talk pod enables wireless communication with the radio wherever it is hidden.
Stay Safe, In Touch, and Inconspicuous
The APX 3000 enhances situational awareness and safety. Quick, secure touch pairing allows team members to easily pair accessories with the radio while preparing for duty, in transit, or on the go. Features like GPS tracking and Man Down alerts provide real-time location monitoring and can send alerts if an operative is in distress. The radio is forward and backward compatible with all Motorola mission critical radio systems, ensuring interoperable voice communications with existing devices and systems.
