Do not allow children to play. It is highly recommended that you go to a professional car modification service shop for replacement installation. ASSEMBLY PRECAUTIONS 1. Assemble only according to these instructions. Improper assembly can create hazards. 2. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during assembly and use. 3. Keep the assembly area clean and well-lit. 4. Keep bystanders out of the area during assembly. 5. Do not assemble when tired or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication. 6. Product capabilities apply to properly and completely assembled products only. 7. For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, please refer to the Assembly Diagram of this manual. Unwrap and separate all parts in a clean work area. Please keep small spare parts out of children's reach. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS 2 PROBLEM POINTS AND SOLUTIONS COMMON CAUSES OF TAILLIGHT CONDENSATION Large changes in daily temperature Leaking seals on bulbs and/or bulb sockets Taillight turned on and the bulbs heated up inside the housing the hot air will turn into moisture. Solution Check that all vents are free from blockages. Turn on the lights for 20mins to raise the taillight temperature and evaporate condensation. Remove bulbs to allow moisture to evaporate from inside the housing. Heat with a hairdryer to speed up the process. Leaking seals on bulb sockets. Put moisture absorbing silica-gel desiccant packet inside the taillight. Not compatible with stepped type PACKAGE LIST Tail Light Assemblies*2, Manual *1 Cautions: If you purchase the models "0SDBTBK" and "03SDBTRD", please note that you should keep the original rear reversing lamp of the vehicle and install them on the new light assembly for use. The rear reversing lamps are not included in these product's models. If you purchase the models "99SDBK" and "02SSBK", please note 4 that you should keep the original lamp of the vehicle and install them on the new light assembly for use. The lamps are not included in these product's models. Replacement Please check the maintenance manual of the vehicle; HINT: The Install procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side. STEP1: Remove existing tail light 1.Open the tailgate ,remove2 Phillips screws 2.Remove the original factory taillight assembly, and all taillight sockets and bulbs(Note: The original reversing lights need to be retained and installed on the new lights). STEP2: Install the new taillight. 1.Locate taillight assembly, connect taillight harness and set taillight assembly in place. 5 2.Reinstall 2 Phillips screws and test our light make sure everything works as it should.
