Installation Instructions
For Sony Mirrorless Cameras
Step 1: Attach the handle to the camera cage or mounting point.
Step 2: Connect the Control Cable for Sony from the handle to the camera's remote port.
Step 3: Long press the REC button for two seconds to activate.
Note: The handle can control recording without an NP-F550/570 battery when used with Sony cameras. Batteries are sold separately.
For Canon / Blackmagic Design Cameras
Step 1: Attach the handle to the camera cage or mounting point.
Step 2: Connect the Control Cable for Canon/Blackmagic Design from the handle to the camera's remote port.
Step 3: Long press the REC button for two seconds to activate.
Note: When using a SmallRig NP-F550 battery (ID: 4331/4791), remove the internal adaptor plate inside the handle.
Note: When not using this product for a long time, long press the power button to turn off or remove the battery.
Indicator Light Instructions

| Green light always on | Battery level ≥ 20% or fully charged |
| Red light always on | Battery level < 20% or charging |
| Red light flashes slowly (1 time/1S) | Battery level <10% |
| Red light flashes fast (1 time/0.1S) | Overcurrent reminder (abnormality). Check if the connected device's power draw exceeds the handle's maximum output. If so, stop using the handle to power the device. If not exceeded, try reconnecting the device. |
| Indicator light off | Battery level at 0% or not connected to a power source. |
