Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic precautions when using electrical appliances, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and up and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if supervised or trained. Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that could entangle the appliance. Fold carpet fringes under the base and lift objects like curtains and tablecloths.
  • If there are drops or stairs, ensure the appliance can detect the edge. A physical barrier may be needed to prevent falls. Ensure the barrier is not a tripping hazard.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer-recommended accessories.
  • Ensure your power source voltage matches the OMNI station's voltage.
  • For indoor household use ONLY. Do not use outdoors or in commercial/industrial environments.
  • Use only the original rechargeable battery and OMNI station provided by the manufacturer. Non-rechargeable batteries are prohibited.
  • Do not operate without the dust compartment and/or filters in place.
  • Do not use in areas with open candles or fragile objects.
  • Do not use in extreme temperatures (below -5°C/23°F or above 40°C/104°F).
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and body parts away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not use in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
  • Do not use on wet surfaces or surfaces with standing water.
  • Do not let the appliance pick up large objects like stones or paper that could cause blockages.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials (e.g., gasoline, toner).
  • Do not use to pick up burning or smoking objects (e.g., cigarettes, matches).
  • Do not place objects in the suction opening. Do not use if suction is blocked. Keep air intake free of dust and debris.
  • Do not damage the power cord. Do not pull or carry by the cord. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service agent.
  • Do not use the OMNI station if it is damaged.
  • Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or receptacle.
  • Turn off the power switch before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Unplug the station before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Remove the appliance from the OMNI station and turn it off before removing the battery for disposal.
  • Dispose of batteries according to local laws and regulations.
  • Do not incinerate the appliance, even if severely damaged, as batteries may explode.
  • Unplug the OMNI station when not in use for extended periods.
  • Use the appliance according to this manual. Yeedi is not responsible for damages caused by improper use.
  • Batteries can only be replaced by qualified persons. Contact customer service for replacement.
  • If the Robot is not used for a long period, turn it off and unplug the OMNI station.
  • Use only the provided power adapter (CH2251) for charging.
  • Maintain a separation distance of 20 cm or more for RF exposure compliance.
  • To deactivate the Wi-Fi module, press and hold the SPOT button for 20 seconds until the Robot beeps once.
  • To activate the Wi-Fi module, turn the Robot off and then on again.

Device Update

Devices are generally updated every two months, but this can vary. Devices over three years old may only receive updates if critical vulnerabilities are detected and corrected.

Correct Disposal of This Product

This marking indicates the product should not be disposed of with household waste. Recycle responsibly to promote material reuse. Use return and collection systems or contact the retailer.

Note: Ensure the water tank cap is securely installed. Ensure the water tank lock is engaged before lifting the Robot.

2. Mapping and Cleaning

2.1 Before Cleaning

  • Tidy the Cleaning Area: Move furniture (chairs, fans) and floor objects (scales) to optimize space. Remove cords, clothes, or slippers that could entangle the robot. Fold carpet fringes.
  • Open Doors: Ensure doors are open for the robot to explore the entire house on the first use.
  • Prevent Robot Falls: Place a physical barrier at edges if necessary.
  • Avoid Narrow Spaces: Do not position the robot in narrow corridors that might hinder its navigation.
  • Check App Map: Before cleaning, verify the robot has created an access plan in the yeedi app.

2.2 Before First Use

  1. Remove Protective Materials: Ensure all protective materials are removed from the robot.
  2. Install Side Brushes: Match brush color to the mounting slot. A click indicates a secure connection.
  3. Install Detachable Base: Lift the mop, then push the detachable base into the station until it clicks.
  4. Reset Mop: Lower the mop to complete installation.
  5. Set Up Station Cube: Place the station against a wall with 0.5m clearance in front and 1.5m on the sides. Align the extension tray and attach it to the floor.
  6. Remove UFO Water Tank: Hold the handle, slide the lock down, and lift the tank.
  7. Fill Water Tank: Fill with clean water (purified or softened water recommended). Replace the tank after installing the cap.

Notes:

  • Cover reflective objects within 5cm of the floor.
  • Do not place the station in direct sunlight.
  • Wipe the extension tray regularly.
  • Avoid frequent repositioning of the extension tray.
  • Use of non-yeedi cleaning solutions may damage the robot.
  • Ensure the water tank cap is properly installed.

2.3 Yeedi App

  • Download the yeedi app via QR code scan or by searching in your mobile app store (iOS/Android).
  • Follow app instructions for registration, login, and network setup.

2.4 Connect Robot to Mobile Phone

Network Setup Steps:

  1. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
  2. Ensure the yeedi cube Robot is powered on.
  3. Open the yeedi app.
  4. Scan the robot's QR code in the app and follow prompts for configuration and Wi-Fi connection.
  5. If setup fails, retry or use alternative methods as per app instructions.

Note: Refer to the troubleshooting section for Wi-Fi setup issues.

2.5 Robot Operation Buttons

  • CLEAN Button: Starts auto cleaning. Press to pause/resume. Press and hold for 2 seconds to end cleaning.
  • SPOT Button: Starts specific area cleaning (1.5m x 1.5m). Press to pause/resume.
  • HOME Button: Returns the robot to the charging station. Press to interrupt return.
  • Wi-Fi Configuration: Press SPOT + HOME for 2 seconds to enter network configuration mode.
  • Factory Reset: Press SPOT + HOME for 5 seconds until startup music plays. Note: This erases all usage data.
  • ON/OFF Switch: Use 'o' to turn off for prolonged periods.

Notes:

  • Keep the robot charged for app control.
  • Recharge every three months if not in use for extended periods.

2.6 Robot and Station Indicator Lights

Robot Indicator Lights:

  • SPOT Light: Solid blue - Cleaning in progress.
  • CLEAN Light: Solid red - Low power/charging. Flashing red - Alarm state.
  • HOME Light: Solid white - Returning to station.

Station Cube Indicator Lights:

  • CLEAN Light: Solid white - Idle/Network setup successful/Connected to base.
  • HOME Light: Blinking white - Charging/Starting/Firmware update.
  • SPOT Light: Solid blue - Specific cleaning.
  • Station Ambient Light: Solid blue - Operating/Charging. Red (left) - Dirty water tank misplaced/full. Red (right) - Dust bag not in place.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Regular Maintenance

3.2 Dustbin and Washable Filter

  1. Press the dustbin release button to remove the dustbin.
  2. Press the dustbin cover release button to empty the dustbin.
  3. Open the filter mesh, remove the washable filter and high-efficiency filter block.
  4. Clean dust from both sides of the filter mesh using the multi-function cleaning tool.
  5. Wash the high-efficiency filter block, sponge filter, and dustbin with water.
  6. Air dry the high-efficiency filter block, sponge filter, and dustbin. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures.

3.3 Vision and Navigation System & Edge Detection Sensors

Wipe with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use detergent.

  1. Wipe the vision and navigation system.
  2. Wipe the edge detection sensors.

3.4 Anti-fall Sensors & Charging Contacts

Wipe with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use detergent.

  1. Wipe the anti-fall sensors.
  2. Wipe the robot's charging contacts.
  3. Wipe the station's charging contacts.

Notes:

  • Charging contacts contain sensitive electronic components. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Turn off the robot and unplug the station before cleaning contacts.

3.5 Multi-surface Main Brush

Clean the main brush. Remove foreign objects using the multi-function cleaning tool.

3.6 Side Brushes

  1. Remove the side brushes.
  2. Clean the side brushes using the multi-function cleaning tool.

Note: Turn off the robot before cleaning.

3.7 Drive Wheels and Universal Wheel

  1. Clean the drive wheels.
  2. Clean the universal wheel.

Note: Regularly check for excessive hair or foreign objects on brushes and wheels to prevent noise.

3.8 Dirty Water Tank, Detachable Base, and Filter

  1. Empty the dirty water tank.
  2. Remove the detachable base regularly. Lift the mop, press the side buttons, and pull.
  3. Lift and remove the filter.
  4. Clean the detachable base.
  5. Wipe the filter.
  6. Install the filter. It clicks into place.
  7. Install the detachable base.
  8. Lower the mop.

Note: Dry the base and filter with a soft cloth or place in a cool area. Avoid direct sunlight.

4. Troubleshooting

Problems encountered during use can be resolved with the following solutions:

1 Cannot connect Robot to App (Wi-Fi Model) Max number of devices connected to router reached.
Incorrect Wi-Fi username or password.
Robot out of Wi-Fi range.
Network configuration started before robot was ready.
No 2.4 GHz network.
1. Remove connected devices from router. 2. Connect to a new router.
Log in to Wi-Fi with correct credentials.
Ensure robot is within Wi-Fi range.
Robot ready for config: Press SPOT + HOME for 2s. Wait for voice prompt.
Robot does not support 5 GHz networks. Enable 2.4 GHz. Ensure router supports 802.11b/g/n, IPv4. Do not use VPN/proxy. Do not use hidden networks. Use WPA/WPA2. Check Wi-Fi channels (1-11 North America, 1-13 elsewhere). If using extender, SSID/password must match main network.
2 Robot cannot charge Robot not powered on.
Dirty charging contacts.
Cube Station not connected to power.
Battery completely discharged.
Turn on Robot. Solid white CLEAN light indicates charging.
Check charging contacts (refer to Maintenance section).
Ensure Cube Station is connected to power.
1. Recharge every 3 months if not in use. 2. Contact after-sales service if it cannot be recharged after a long period of inactivity.
3 Irregular routes, deviations, repeated cleaning, small surface leaks during operation Robot will explore and map the environment.
Dust accumulation on sensor surface.
1. Robot maps and cleans room by room.
Wipe laser sensor and visual sensor with a dry cloth.
Power cords, slippers, etc., on the floor hinder optimal operation.
Floor recently waxed/polished.
Robot cannot enter narrow areas due to home layout/furniture.
1. Tidy floor, reduce floor clutter for better cleaning.
2. Robot automatically handles leaks; do not intervene.
Wait for wax to dry, then start cleaning.
1. Tidy home, maximize clear space. 2. Robot has height/diameter limitations (cannot enter spaces <10cm high or <40cm wide).
4 Robot gets stuck and stops Robot entangled with floor objects (cords, curtains, carpet fringes, etc.). 1. Robot attempts to free itself. 2. If unsuccessful, manually remove obstacles and restart.
5 Robot makes excessive noise during cleaning Side brushes or main brush tangled, or dustbin/filter blocked.
Drive wheels or universal wheel blocked.
Regularly remove tangled debris (refer to Maintenance).
Clear wheels (refer to Maintenance).
Robot in Max+ suction mode. 1. Disable auto-increase suction in app. 2. Use standard suction for daily cleaning.
6 Easy-clean mop installed, but no water dispenses UFO water tank is low on water.
Water outlets under the robot are blocked.
UFO water tank not installed correctly.
Ensure UFO water tank is full before cleaning.
1. Robot will wet the mop if starting from station. 2. Place robot near station, press HOME, then CLEAN/Start in app.
Clean water outlets with a clean cloth. Contact after-sales service if water still doesn't dispense.
7 Voice prompt: "Please install the UFO water tank." UFO water tank not installed correctly. Press firmly during installation until it clicks.
8 Robot leaves dust or debris during cleaning Dustbin cover or dust outlet plate blocked by debris. Remove debris.
9 Robot returns to charge before finishing cleaning Room is too large, requiring recharge.
Complex home environment prolongs cleaning time.
1. Ensure robot is fully charged before starting.
2. Recommend standard suction.
3. Enable 'Resume Cleaning' function (see app instructions).
1. Tidy floor obstacles before cleaning.
2. If cleaning repeats, delete and recreate the map.
10 Robot cannot find station signal and return Cube Station not positioned correctly.
Cube Station is powered off.
Cube Station moved manually during cleaning.
Robot did not start from Cube Station.
Position station correctly (refer to Mapping section).
1. Check station power connection. 2. Check outlet.
Do not move the station while the robot is cleaning.
Start robot from Cube Station (Auto or Zone Cleaning modes).
Recharge path blocked (e.g., closed door, obstacle). Open room door and clear path to charging point.
Robot slipped.
Detachable base not installed correctly.
1. Remove, clean, and dry detachable base before installing.
2. Wipe station front and drive wheels for water/oil stains.
1. Install detachable base correctly (refer to 'Before First Use').
2. Ensure mop is lowered after base installation.
Robot positioning failed, cannot find station. 1. Move robot near station, press HOME.
2. If station still not found, restore and use backup map.
3. If station is repeatedly not found, clear current map and create a new one.
11 Robot cannot return to Cube Station (Covered in No. 10) (See solutions for No. 10)
12 Drive wheel warnings Drive wheels tangled or blocked by foreign objects. Rotate and press drive wheels to check for and clear foreign objects.
13 Cleaning sink on Cube Station is full of water that cannot be aspirated. Voice alarm indicates sink is full. Dirty water tank not installed correctly.
Dirty water tank is full.
Foreign objects in cleaning sink water inlet.
Check dirty water tank installation; light should be solid blue.
Clean dirty water tank and reset.
Ensure no foreign objects block the inlet. Remove and reinsert filter.
Above procedures performed, but voice alarm persists. Unplug and replug the station power.
