US2000 (Version B) Product Manual
Information Version: 1.0
Introduction
This manual introduces the US2000 (VERSION B) from Pylontech. Please read this manual carefully before installing the battery and follow the instructions during the installation process. For any confusion, please contact Pylontech immediately for advice and clarification.
The US2000 (VERSION B) lithium iron phosphate battery is a new energy storage product developed and produced by Pylontech. It supports reliable power for various types of equipment and systems. The US2000 (VERSION B) is particularly suitable for high-power applications, limited installation spaces, restricted load-bearing capacities, and long cycle life requirements.
The US2000 (VERSION B) features a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) that manages and monitors cell information, including voltage, current, and temperature. The BMS also balances cell charging and discharging to extend cycle life. Multiple batteries can be connected in parallel to expand capacity and power for larger energy storage and longer power support duration needs.
Key Features:
- The entire module is non-toxic, non-polluting, and environmentally friendly.
- Cathode material is made from LiFePO4, offering safety performance and a long cycle life.
- The Battery Management System (BMS) includes protection functions for over-discharge, over-charge, over-current, and high/low temperatures.
- The system automatically manages charge and discharge states and balances current and voltage for each cell.
- Flexible configuration allows multiple battery modules to be connected in parallel for expanding capacity and power.
- An adopted self-cooling mode rapidly reduces system noise.
- The module exhibits low self-discharge, retaining charge for up to 6 months on the shelf, with no memory effect and excellent performance in shallow charge and discharge cycles.
- The working temperature range is from -10℃ to 50℃ (Charging 0~50℃; discharging -10~50℃), providing excellent discharge performance and cycle life.
- The small size and light weight, with a standard 19-inch embedded design, make it convenient for installation and maintenance.
Safety Precautions
Reminded
- It is very important and necessary to read the user manual carefully (included with accessories) before installing or using the battery. Failure to do so or to follow any instructions or warnings in this document can result in electrical shock, serious injury, or death, or can damage the battery, potentially rendering it inoperable.
- If the battery is stored for a long time, it is required to charge it every six months, ensuring the State of Charge (SOC) is no less than 80%.
- The battery needs to be recharged within 12 hours after being fully discharged.

Stacking Batteries:
Aim the 4 pairs of Location Pins and Location Holes to stack the batteries together. Secure the 4 agraffes together.
Stacking Configurations:
- Maximum 4 batteries can be stacked athwart (side-by-side).
- One or two batteries can be stacked sidelong (vertically).
Note: Cable connection and battery system start-up procedures are the same as for cabinet installation.
After installation, remember to register online for full warranty at: www.pylontech.com.cn/service/registration
Troubleshooting Steps
Problem Determination Based On:
- Whether the battery can turn on or not.
- If the battery is turned on, check if the red light is off, flashing, or solid.
- If the red light is off, check whether the battery can charge/discharge.
Preliminary Determination Steps:
- Battery cannot turn on: All lights are off or not flashing. If the battery external switch is ON, the RUN light is flashing, and the external power supply voltage is 48V or more, but the battery still fails to turn on, please contact Pylontech.
- Battery can turn on, but red light is lit, and it cannot charge or discharge: If the red light is lit, it indicates an abnormal system. Check the following values:
- Temperature: If the temperature is above 50°C or below -10°C, the battery may not work. Solution: Move the battery to the normal operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C.
- Current: If the current exceeds 100A, battery protection will activate. Solution: Check if the current is too high and adjust settings on the power supply side if necessary.
- High Voltage: If the charging voltage is above 54V, battery protection will activate. Solution: Check if the voltage is too high and adjust settings on the power supply side if necessary.
- Low Voltage: When the battery discharges to 44.5V or less, battery protection will activate. Solution: Charge the battery for some time until the red light turns off.
If the fault cannot be located after checking the above four points, turn off the battery and seek repair.
Emergency Situations
1. Leaking Batteries
If the battery pack leaks electrolyte, avoid contact with the leaking liquid or gas. If exposed to the leaked substance, immediately perform the following actions:
- Inhalation: Evacuate the contaminated area and seek medical attention.
- Contact with eyes: Rinse eyes with flowing water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
- Contact with skin: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water, and seek medical attention.
- Ingestion: Induce vomiting and seek medical attention.
2. Fire
NO WATER! Only dry powder fire extinguishers can be used. If possible, move the battery pack to a safe area before it catches fire.
3. Wet Batteries
If the battery pack is wet or submerged in water, do not allow people to access it, and then contact Pylontech or an authorized dealer for technical support.
4. Damaged Batteries
Damaged batteries are dangerous and must be handled with the utmost care. They are not fit for use and may pose a danger to people or property. If the battery pack appears to be damaged, pack it in its original container and return it to Pylontech or an authorized dealer.
Note: Damaged batteries may leak electrolyte or produce flammable gas. If such damage occurs, please contact Pylontech at service@pylontech.com.cn.
