Familiarize Yourself with the Security System

Security Modes

The X-Sense home security system has 3 modes to choose from: Disarm, Home, and Away. You can easily switch between these modes through the app or by using a remote control.

The default system settings for each mode are listed below. You can choose which sensors are armed or disarmed in each mode, as well as customize mode options for each sensor.

Delay Functions

Exit Delay

The exit delay gives you the time to leave the monitored area without triggering an alarm when the system is armed. If the exit delay is on and you leave the monitored area within the set delay time, the alarm will not sound.

Exit delay is disabled by default for each mode. You will need to set up a delay time ranging from 0 to 300 seconds within the app.

Entry Delay

The entry delay gives you time to get inside the monitored area while the system is armed and manually disarm the alarm. Be sure to disarm the system within the set delay time to avoid triggering an alarm.

Entry delay is disabled by default for each mode. You will need to set up a delay time ranging from 0 to 300 seconds within the app.
