User Manual
Product Overview
This document provides the user manual for the CyberPower CSP600WSU, a 6-outlet and 2-USB surge protector wall-tap designed to protect electronic devices from power surges and spikes.
Diagram Description
The device is a wall-tap surge protector that plugs directly into a standard electrical outlet. It features six pivoting standard grounded AC outlets, allowing for flexible placement of plugs. Two USB charging ports are also integrated into the front of the unit. Indicator lights are present to show the status of surge protection and grounding.
Features
- Surge Protected Indicator: An illuminated light indicates that the surge protection feature is functioning correctly.
- Ground Indicator LED: An illuminated light confirms that the unit is properly grounded.
- Pivoting Standard Grounded Outlets (6): Six outlets that can pivot for easier use and accommodate various plug sizes.
- USB Charging Ports* (2): Two USB ports capable of charging USB devices. These ports provide surge-protected power but do not function as a USB hub for data transfer.

Caution
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
- Use only in dry locations and indoors.
- Do not plug into another relocatable power tap.
- Do not "daisy chain" surge protectors.
- Do not use with any aquarium equipment.
- Do not use if properly grounded outlets are not available.
- Do not install this device if there is less than 10 meters (30 feet) of wire between the electrical outlet and the electrical service panel.
- Do not use for medical or life support equipment. This device features an internal protection that will disconnect the surge protective component at the end of its useful life, but it will maintain unprotected power to the load.
Troubleshooting
Grounded Indicator Not Lit: If the grounded indicator does not light when the surge protector is plugged in, try a different grounded three-prong AC outlet. If it still does not light, return the product to the retailer. If the surge protector appears to be working but the indicator is off, your outlets may not be properly grounded and require professional electrician service.
Protected Indicator Not Lit: If the protected indicator does not light, the surge protector's AC lines are no longer protected from surges. This indicates the unit may have absorbed a surge beyond its limits. While it has protected your connected equipment, it will not protect against future surges and should be replaced.
