Diagram Description

Figure 1 shows an exploded view of the mitre saw. The main body (1) forms the base and includes a pivoting arm (4) supported by a steel tube (5). The arm holds the saw blade (19) and guide assembly (14). A fence (6) is attached to the base for guiding the workpiece. Various screws (8, 10, 13, 18), adjustment mechanisms (15, 16), and support posts (12, 20) are also shown, along with a handle (3) and pointer (2) for alignment. The base (9) provides stability.
