GE Flat Panel HD User Manual

Getting Started: Setting Up Your GE Flat Panel HD Antenna

This guide provides simple instructions to connect, place, and scan for channels with your GE Flat Panel HD TV Antenna. Ensure you perform a channel scan after installation for optimal performance.

1. Connect

Attach the antenna stand securely. Then, connect the antenna's coaxial cable to the corresponding input on your TV.

2. Place

Position the antenna on a flat surface in your desired viewing location. Extend the dipoles (the rabbit ears) as needed to achieve the best possible reception. Experiment with both horizontal and vertical orientations for optimal signal strength.

3. Scan

Perform a TV channel scan to find available over-the-air channels. Follow these steps:

  1. Access your TV's setup or settings menu.
  2. Select the option for 'scan', 'autotune', 'channel search', or 'channel scan'. Ensure this setting is configured to search for over-the-air channels, not cable channels.
  3. Allow your TV to complete the channel scanning process.
