Advanced Features

Favorites

You can program favorite channels for quick access. Refer to the specific programming steps for managing favorite channels, typically involving pressing SETUP, then FAV, and then the channel number.

Master Volume Control

This feature allows you to set the remote so that the Volume Up/Down buttons always control the volume of a specific device (e.g., your soundbar or receiver), regardless of which device is currently selected. To set this, typically you would press SETUP, then the device button you want to control the volume for (e.g., AUD), then the VOL+ button. The LED will confirm the setting.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote Not Working: Ensure batteries are fresh and inserted correctly. Check if the LED indicator lights up when a button is pressed. Try resetting the remote.
  • Buttons Not Responding: Make sure the remote is programmed for the correct device. Try reprogramming the remote using a different code or method. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the device.
  • Incorrect Device Control: If a button controls the wrong function, try a different code for the device. If the remote controls one device but not another, ensure you have selected the correct device button before pressing other buttons.
  • Backlight Not Working: The backlight typically activates upon button press and may have a timeout feature. Ensure batteries are sufficient.

Resetting the Remote

Reset to Factory Settings

If you encounter persistent issues or wish to start fresh, you can reset the remote to its original factory settings. This usually involves pressing and holding the SETUP button, then pressing a specific sequence of buttons (e.g., 9-8-7). The LED indicator will confirm the reset.
