Baby9T&2M QUICK GUIDE
A quick guide for the Arenti Baby 9T and Baby 2M baby monitor system. It features an illustration of the camera unit and the monitor unit. Compliance logos for CE, FC, and RoHS are present.

Description
Camera Unit Components:
- Status light: Indicates network status. Solid red: Network malfunction. Blinking red slowly: Waiting for network connection. Blinking red fast: Connecting the network. Solid blue: Functioning properly.
- Microphone: For audio input.
- Temperature & humidity sensor: Detects environmental conditions.
- RESET: Button to reset the device. Press and hold for 5 seconds to restore factory defaults.
- Speaker: For audio output.
- TF card slot: For storage (up to 256GB).
- Pair button: Long press to pair with the screen.
- Power port: For power connection (DC 5V/1A).
Monitor Unit Components:
- Volume: Adjusts audio volume.
- ON/OFF button: Long press for 5 seconds to turn the monitor on/off.
- TF card slot: For storage (up to 128GB).
- Power port: For power connection (DC 5V/1A).
- RESET: Press with a pin to reset the monitor.
- Speaker: For audio output.
- Antenna: Adjust for better signals.
- Stand: For positioning the monitor.
Monitor Button Functions:
- Direction buttons: Navigate and select options.
- OK button: Confirm selections or wake the screen.
- Call button: Make a call after pressing.
- Back button: Press to go back; Long press to stop playing music.
- Zoom in/out buttons: Adjust image magnification (1X, 2X, or 4X).
- Menu button: Access settings and options.
Getting the App
1. Download App: Search for "CloudEdge" in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the provided QR codes to download the app. The app is available for iOS and Android.

Set up router
The device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
Ensure your router is set to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and you have the SSID and password.

Note: Wi-Fi SSID and password length should not exceed 24 characters.
If connection issues occur, press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds to reset the device.
Registration
1. Sign up: Open the app and tap "Sign up" to register. Tap "Log In" if you have an account.
2. Complete registration: Enter a valid email address, agree to the privacy agreement, and set your nickname and password.
Note: Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use carefully before creating an account.
Add Device
1. Power on device: Connect the camera unit to a power outlet (DC 5V/1A) using the power cable.
Note: If the device is not flashing red slowly after 30 seconds, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset, then restart to pair with the app.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone: Ensure Bluetooth is active on your smartphone.
Pair device to the App
Pairing method 1 (Scan Code)
a. In the app, tap +
> "Scan Code" or "Scan code to add" to scan the QR code on the device casing.
b. Reset the device and ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection. Hold the RESET button for 4-5 seconds until a flashing RED indicator light appears.
c. Complete the network configuration by selecting the Wi-Fi network and entering the password.
Pairing method 2 (Add Manually)
a. In the app, tap "Add Manually" or +
> "Add Device". The device will be searched for via Bluetooth. Follow on-screen instructions.
b. Complete the network configuration.
Pairing method 3 (Add Manually)
a. In the app, tap "Add Manually" or +
> "Add Device". Select the correct camera icon (e.g., "Baby Monitor (2.4G Wi-Fi)").
b. Reset the device and ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection. Hold the RESET button for 4-5 seconds until a flashing RED indicator light appears.
c. Use the device to scan the QR code displayed in the app on your phone. Place the router, phone, and device close together for best connectivity (20-30cm distance recommended).
d. Complete the network configuration.
Installation
Method 1
Simply place the device on a horizontal surface where Wi-Fi signal is strong.

Method 2
Install the device to the ceiling.
a. Pick a clean and flat surface.
Note: Ensure the wall is strong enough to withstand 3 times the weight of the device.
Note: Do not use adhesive tape on limewashed walls.
b. Fix the included mounting bracket to the clean surface using screws.
c. Insert the camera unit into the bracket.
Live View
Open the app to view the live feed, take snapshots, talk, record videos, and use other functions.

Monitor Using Tips
1. Pairing of camera and monitor
Power on the camera and monitor; they should connect automatically. If connection fails, follow these steps:
- Bind the monitor and camera:
- Press the [Menu button] on the monitor, select

Camera. - Select Camera 1 or Camera 2.
- Long press the camera pairing button until a prompt tone is heard.
- Press the [OK button] on the monitor to start pairing.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for a second camera.
- Press the [Menu button] on the monitor, select

- Long press the [OK button] to release the binding.

2. App & Monitor Preview
After pairing and adding the camera to the app, the monitor and app cannot preview simultaneously. Monitor preview has higher priority.
- Case 1: The app does not support preview when the monitor is previewing.
- Case 2: You can preview in the app if the monitor is off.
- Case 3: Turning on the monitor for preview will interrupt the preview in the app.
3. Camera switching method
If two cameras are added, the monitor displays two live views. To set parameters for a specific camera, select and switch to it first.
On the home page, press the [Menu button] and use the [Direction buttons] to switch between Cam1 or Cam2. Select a camera and press [OK button] for full-screen view. Press the [Zoom button] to zoom in/out (only in full-screen mode).

4. Rotate the camera
Adjust the monitoring angle using the [Direction buttons] on the monitor screen when the camera is powered on. Press the buttons to rotate the camera horizontally and vertically.
5. Photo & video
- Take a photo: Press [Menu button], select

and press [OK button]. - Record a video: Press [Menu button], select
[icon]
and press [OK button]. - View taken photos and recorded videos:
- Press [Menu button], select
[icon]
and press [OK button] to enter the interface. - Select camera and date, then select the photo/video and press [OK button] to enter preview mode.
- Press [Menu button], select
- Press [OK button] to play/pause video.
- Press [Return button] to quit preview or return to the main menu.

6. Play music
Play soothing music for the baby. Press [Menu button], select [icon]
and press [OK button] to enter the music interface. Select music, change cycle mode, or adjust volume.
7. Feeding reminder
Reminds you to feed your baby. 1. Press [Menu button], select >
Feeding Reminder. 2. Turn reminders on/off. Up to 10 feeding times can be set per day. An alarm appears on the monitor screen when the set time is reached. 3. Use [UP] and [DOWN] direction buttons to toggle time options, and [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to enter/leave settings.

8. Smart care
1. Press [Menu button], select >
Smart Care. 2. Use [LEFT]/[RIGHT] buttons to select "Alarm Type" and "Reminder Method". 3. Alarm Type: Use [UP]/[DOWN] to select detection (e.g., Motion Detection, Noise Detection, Cry Detection). Use [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to change options and [UP]/[DOWN] to adjust sensitivity (Low to High). 4. Reminder Method: Use [UP]/[DOWN] to select reminder method (icon, voice). Use [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to adjust alarm volume.

9. Temperature and humidity detection
Monitor room temperature and humidity in real-time. Receive alarms if values are out of range.
1. Press [Menu button], select >
Temperature and humidity. 2. Use [UP]/[DOWN] to select temperature range, humidity range, and out-of-range reminder, then press [OK] to set. 3. Use [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to change options, and [UP]/[DOWN] to change values and units. 4. Turn the out-of-range reminder on/off.

10. General settings
- Set up brightness: Press [Menu button], select

Date and time. Use direction buttons to change date, time, and display mode. - Set up language: Press [Menu button], select

Language. Select desired language.
Set up sleep mode
Increase standby time.
- 1. Press [Menu button], select
>
Sleep mode. - 2. Default mode (Audio off): No audio after display off, long standby time.
- 3. Audio on mode: Audio can still be heard after screen off. Choose time (1, 5, 10, 30, 60 min). Shorter standby time.
- 4. Always on mode: Monitor stays on unless power button is pressed. Short standby time.
Turn on and off status indicator
Turn on to see working status, or turn off if it affects baby's sleep. Press [Menu button], select [icon]
> "On" (or press [Menu button] > [icon] > Status light).
SD card
- 1. Press [Menu button], select
[icon]
> SD card management. View total capacity and remaining capacity. - 2. (Optional) Format SD card, but back up important data first.
Upgrade
Upgrade camera when upgrade alarm appears. Or press [Menu button], select [icon]
> Device information to check for upgrades.
Low battery alarm
An alarm appears on the monitor screen when the camera is low on battery. Charge the monitor promptly.
FAQs
Camera
- Q: Device cannot be previewed properly?
A: Check Wi-Fi signal strength. If weak, move device closer to router or reset and re-add to app. - Q: How to change Wi-Fi or update password?
A: Delete camera from app, tap "Add", and follow steps to add with the new Wi-Fi network. - Q: Why no notifications with App?
A: Confirm app is running, reminder function is enabled, and phone system message notifications/authority are enabled. - Q: Failed to access live video, prompts offline?
A: Ensure camera is powered on (network indicator on). Check Wi-Fi network condition or restart router. Move camera closer. Delete from Arenti App and add again. Confirm app and camera firmware are latest versions.
Monitor
- Q: Cannot find the pairing button?
A: The pairing button is the call button on the camera. Long press for 3 seconds and follow monitor instructions. - Q: What if the monitor is stuck?
A: Press the reset button near the power port, or long press the power button to turn on again. - Q: How to change monitor wallpaper?
A: Press [Menu button], select[icon]

A: Check if the monitor is connected to the camera. Pair them first if not. - Q: Why camera/monitor cannot identify TF card?
A: Confirm TF card is available and formatted as FAT32.
