Before Using for the First Time

Check the contents for completeness and visible damage. Report any incomplete or damaged delivery to the supplier immediately. Keep the original packaging during the warranty or guarantee period so that you can send the foldable garden trolley with XXL leaf bag properly packaged in the event of a warranty or guarantee claim.

Important Safety Instructions

The foldable garden trolley with XXL leaf bag is only intended for use by adults; please keep away from children.

It is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial use.

The leaf bag must be stored in a dry place; do not leave damp garden waste in the leaf bag for any length of time. Allow the leaf bag to dry out completely before folding it up again and storing it. Trapped residual moisture can lead to mold growth.

Please assemble the foldable garden trolley with XXL leaf bag manually and do not use an electric screwdriver. We recommend providing sufficient space for assembly.

Please check all screw connections and joints from time to time to ensure they are secure.

Assembly Instructions

Assembly and use of the SEECODE Foldable Garden Trolley with XXL leaf bag.

Parts Overview (Diagram on Pages 3, 11, 19, 27)

The diagram shows all components labeled with numbers: 1 (Shovel/Base), 2 (Handlebar), 3 (Connecting Rods/Frame), 4 (Clamps), 5 (Broom Holders), 6 (Wheels), 7 (Wheel Covers), 8 (Base Plate), 9 (Washers), 10 (Split Pins), 11 (Nuts), 12 (Short Screws), 13 (Long Screws).

Step 1: Slide on the connecting pieces

There are raised sections on one side of the connecting rods (3). Slide the plastic connecting pieces (3) shown below onto the connecting rods from above so that the protrusions fit exactly into the recesses. (Illustrated in Diagram A on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 2: Attaching the clamps and holders

Slide the clamps (4) and the broom holders (5) onto the handlebar (2). (Illustrated in Diagram A on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 3: Connect the handle to the connecting rods

Insert the tube ends of the handle (2) into the connecting rods (3). Secure the connection with the two short screws (12) and the matching nuts (11). Note: Make sure that the self-locking nuts are screwed on so that the blue inner ring faces outwards. (Illustrated in Diagram A on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 4: Tighten the screws provisionally

First, tighten the screws and nuts by hand only. This will make the rest of the assembly process easier. Only then should you tighten them completely with a wrench and Phillips screwdriver.

Step 5: Mounting the base plate

Turn the connector at the lower end of each connecting rod (3) until it fits exactly into the receptacle on the base plate (8). (Illustrated in Diagram B on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 6: Positioning the frame

Attach the frame (3) to the base plate (8) using the connecting pieces. (Illustrated in Diagram B on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 7: Inserting the screws

Secure the connection with the two long screws (13) and the matching nuts (11). Insert the screws from the outside to the inside through the corresponding holes in the base plate (8) and the rod (3). (Illustrated in Diagram B on pages 4, 12, 20, 28).

Step 8: Tighten the screws

Tighten the screws and nuts with a spanner and a Phillips screwdriver. Hold the nuts in place with the wrench and turn the screws in with the screwdriver.

Step 9: Snap the connectors into place

Press the two plastic connectors onto the brackets on the base plate (8) until they click into place.

Step 10: Tighten the screws on the handle

Once the rod (3) has been securely attached to the base plate (8), tighten the screws on the handle (2) completely.

Step 11: Insert the axle rod

Push the axle rod into the holes provided in the base plate (8). (Illustrated in Diagram C on pages 5, 13, 21, 29).

Step 12: Mount the wheels

Slide one wheel (6) and one washer (9) onto the axle rod. (Illustrated in Diagram C on pages 5, 13, 21, 29).

Step 13: Secure the wheels

Secure the wheel and washer with a split pin (10), which you insert through the hole in the axle rod. Then bend the ends of the split pin outwards to ensure that it is secure. (Illustrated in Diagram D on pages 5, 13, 21, 29).

Step 14: Attaching the wheel cover

Press the wheel cover (7) onto the wheel until it clicks into place. (Illustrated in Diagram D on pages 5, 13, 21, 29).

Step 15: Attaching the handle

Attach the handle to the back of the shovel (1). To do this, press the retaining hooks at the end of the handle together parallel to each other and push them through the openings provided. (Illustrated in Diagram E on pages 5, 13, 21, 29).

Step 16: Secure the shovel

Then clamp the shovel onto the handle (2) from above.

Step 17: Unfolding and attaching the leaf bag

Carefully unfold the leaf bag. Then attach it to the top of the frame using the two Velcro straps. (Illustrated in Diagram G on pages 6, 14, 22, 30).

Important Note: Please note that the folded leaf bag is under mechanical tension and will unfold quickly and with pressure upwards after the safety loops are released. Keep a safe distance when opening. Take particular care to ensure that your head is not directly above the edge of the leaf bag. To unfold, release the two loops on the base plate. (Illustrated in Diagram F on pages 6, 14, 22, 30).

Step 18: Use the clamp holders

The clamp holders on the right and left of the frame can now be used to transport brooms and rakes. (Illustrated in Diagram I on pages 6, 14, 22, 30).

Step 19: Assembly complete

The garden trolley is now fully assembled and ready to be filled. (Illustrated in Diagram J on pages 7, 15, 23, 31).

Folding the Leaf Bag

Follow these steps to fold the leaf bag:

1. Detach the leaf bag from the frame and carefully push it towards the base plate. (Illustrated in Diagram K on pages 7, 15, 23, 31).
2. Safety aspect: Make sure that the leaf bag does not spring back accidentally and endanger the head area. (Illustrated in Diagram L on pages 7, 15, 23, 31).
3. Close the loops of the leaf bag on both sides of the base plate to fold it up securely. (Illustrated in Diagrams M, N on pages 7, 15, 23, 31).

Folding the Frame

To fold the frame, lift the plastic connectors (3) out of the holders and carefully fold the frame towards the base plate. (Illustrated in Diagrams M, N on pages 7, 15, 23, 31).

Instructions for Use

The shovel helps you collect leaves and is ideal for filling the leaf bag. (Illustrated in Diagrams P, Q on pages 8, 16, 24, 32).

Cleaning and Care

Only clean the foldable garden trolley with XXL leaf bag with a soft cloth. Dry the XXL leaf bag thoroughly before storing it.

Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents or harsh chemicals. Do not use any metallic cleaning objects.

Guarantee/Warranty

The warranty period is 24 months from the date of purchase. This includes a 6-month guarantee from the date of purchase.

The geographical scope of the warranty cover is Europe-wide. The proof of purchase serves as proof. The product has been thoroughly checked for quality and functionality before dispatch.

The guarantee is excluded in the following cases:

• If the product has been modified without authorization.
• In the event of use other than that specified above.

If you make a claim under the guarantee/warranty, please return the complete product in transport-safe packaging to the point of sale from which the product was purchased. Describe the recognized defect in the product and enclose the original proof of purchase with the consignment. The seller reserves the right to subsequent fulfillment before reimbursement of the purchase price. Necessary transport costs will be reimbursed to the customer if a justified claim under the statutory guarantee/warranty is established. The utilization of statutory warranty rights is free of charge.
