Read these instructions carefully before installation and operation of the heater. Failure to adhere to the instructions could result in fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, death, or property damage. Review frequently for continuing safe operation and advise future users, if necessary.
Key Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before installing or using this heater.
- Do not paint the heater and do not alter the heater.
- Do not install the heater on a wall covered with vinyl.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater may become hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not touch hot surfaces of the heater with bare skin. Keep all combustible materials at least 3 ft. (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and top: furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothing, bath towel, bath robe, drapes, etc.
- The heater should not be blocked in any way whatsoever. Do not use as a towel dryer.
- Install the heater in the position shown in the installation figures.
- Allow a minimum clearance of 6 in. (152 mm) below the heater.
- Allow a minimum clearance of 2 in. (51 mm) between the sides of the heater and any adjacent walls.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 39 1/2 in. (1004 mm) from a bathtub, in accordance with local and national codes.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids, and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Use intended holes in the enclosure to secure the heater in place as specified in these instructions.
- To avoid electric shock, disconnect all power to the heater at the main service panel before installation, wiring, or servicing. Replace the front cover of the heater before putting the power back on.
- Use copper supply wires only.
- All wiring must be done in accordance with national and local electrical codes, and the heater must be grounded.
- An incorrectly installed heater may be permanently damaged and present a risk of fire or electric shock. Required minimal clearances must be observed along with these instructions. The heater must be securely fastened to the building's framing.
- Do not install the heater in vapor or shower bathrooms, nor in places where it will be exposed to a high level of humidity or vapor for a long period.
- Ensure the applied voltage is suitable for the heater's rating.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation opening, as this may cause electric shock, short circuit, fire, or damage to the heater.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet in any way whatsoever.
- The heater is designed and certified for ambient heating only. The maximum ambient operating temperature is 30 °C (86 °F).
- The heater is not designed for use in a humid environment where condensation may form on the device.
- Use the heater only as described in the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS section. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Refer to the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF THE THERMOSTAT section for troubleshooting tips (for models with a built-in thermostat).
- The heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Do not operate any heater after it malfunctions. Disconnect power at the service panel and have the heater inspected by a reputable electrician before reusing.
- The thermostat should not be considered an infallible device in cases where maintaining a temperature is critical (e.g., hazardous material storage, computer server rooms). In such cases, it is imperative to add a monitoring system to avoid the consequences of thermostat failure.
- This heater contains a single-operation thermal fuse that turns the heater out of service if an internal component becomes excessively hot.

Installation Guide
The installation of this heater must be executed by a qualified person, where required by law.
Mounting Steps
Recessed Wall Mounting
Provide a minimum opening of 2 5/8 in. (67 mm) deep. The hole must be cut precisely using the provided template. The bottom of the unit must be at least 6 in. (152 mm) from the floor and 2 in. (51 mm) from adjacent walls. An installation height of 12 in. (305 mm) from the bottom of the unit is recommended for better temperature regulation.
Diagram Description: Diagram illustrating recessed wall mounting: shows a wall opening with specified dimensions for depth and overall size, along with minimum clearance requirements from the floor (6 inches / 152 mm) and adjacent walls (2 inches / 51 mm). A template is provided for accurate wall cutout.
Surface Wall Mounting
The bottom of the unit must be at least 6 in. (152 mm) from the floor and 2 in. (51 mm) from adjacent walls. An installation height of 12 in. (305 mm) from the bottom of the unit is recommended for better temperature regulation. Locate the supply wire position and make a 1 in. (25 mm) diameter hole. Firmly install the 3 screws supplied to the wall. Do not overtighten, as you will need to slide the heater at step 6.b).
Diagram Description: Diagram illustrating surface wall mounting: shows the heater unit mounted directly onto a wall surface, highlighting the same minimum clearances from the floor (6 inches / 152 mm) and adjacent walls (2 inches / 51 mm). It also shows the placement of mounting screws.
Installation Procedure
- Use the template provided with the heater.
- Remove the front cover by unscrewing the screw in the air outlet (at the bottom) and sliding the front cover upwards.
- Disconnect the thermostat from the casing by pulling the white plastic connector (for models with a built-in thermostat) and place the front cover on a clean surface.
- Remove the connection box cover. Remove the appropriate knock-out from the box for the electrical supply.
- Wire the heater according to national and local codes and the wiring diagram.
- Installation:
- Recessed wall mounting: Install the casing in the wall opening using the holes located on the edge of each side of the recess box.
- Surface wall mounting: Align the oversized part of the holes with the screws already on the wall, then slide the heater downward. Ensure the 3 screws are well supported at the top of the keyhole (small part). Once the heater is in place, finish tightening the 3 screws.
- Reconnect the thermostat to the casing by clipping both parts of the white plastic connector together. Replace the flat cable in the wire clip.
- Put the connection box cover back.
- Reinstall the front cover by inserting the 2 tabs located at the top of the front cover into the 2 slots located at the top of the casing, then tighten the screw located in the air outlet. Ensure the front cover is properly seated and secure to the casing.
- Test the heater. (Models with a built-in thermostat start with a calibration sequence). Adjust the heater thermostat to maximum setting. A slight heating smell may emerge from the openings; this is normal and will stop after a few minutes. Adjust the thermostat to minimum setting.

Diagram Description: The thermostat display includes heating intensity indicators, visualized as a series of bars representing 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% of maximum heating output.
Diagram Description: Fan intensity is indicated by a similar bar graph display, showing levels such as 100% and 50%.
To display the set temperature, press one of the adjustment buttons for 1 second. The set temperature appears for 5 seconds. To change the set temperature, press one of the adjustment buttons for 1 second, then press the adjustment button repeatedly until the desired temperature is displayed.
Standby and Power On
Standby deactivates all heater functions. To put the heater on standby, press the [power-on]/[standby] button for 4 seconds. The display will show a countdown from 4 to 1, then "<< OFF >>". To power on the heater, press the [power-on]/[standby] button for 3 seconds. The unit will operate in the last mode stored in memory.
Calibration Sequence / Power Outage
Upon connection or after a power outage, the heater starts a calibration sequence (display shows "CAL", buttons flash cyan, fan runs at full power for 60 seconds). All buttons are deactivated during calibration. Once calibration is complete, the room temperature is shown, and the last operating mode is activated. If calibration fails, error code E9 appears. Press the [power-on]/[standby] button for 3 seconds to clear the error and restart calibration. Contact technical support if the error persists.
Maintenance Instructions
Once every quarter, remove the front cover and use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust accumulation inside the heater.
Cleaning should be done while the heater is disconnected from the main service panel. Wait until the housing and heating element cool before performing maintenance.
Replace the front cover before energizing.
A qualified technician should perform any other servicing.
