Important Safety Precautions ⚠️

  1. Read all instructions before use.

  10. Ensure the bean hopper lid is in place before operating the product.
  11. Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric burners, or in a heated oven.
  12. This product is designed for household use only. Any commercial use, improper use, or failure to follow the instructions will void the warranty.
  13. This product is only for roasted coffee beans. Do not use it for other purposes (e.g., hard seeds, herbs, nuts) to avoid damaging the appliance.
  14. All appliances undergo strict inspection and actual grinding tests before leaving the factory, which may result in minor signs of use or coffee residue.
  15. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.

Operation Instructions

First Use

Before using the coffee bean grinder for the first time, wipe the exterior and the bean hopper with a clean, damp cloth. Wash the coffee powder cup and lid with warm soapy water, then rinse and air dry.

Note: Power Saving Mode: If the appliance is not used for over 3 minutes, it will automatically enter power saving mode. Pressing any button will resume operation.

How to Remove Bean Hopper and Upper Burr

  1. Ensure the coffee bean grinder is unplugged. ?
  2. Press the lever on the grind size adjustment ring (located next to the unlock symbol ?).
  3. Turn the bean hopper counter-clockwise until the unlock symbol ? aligns with the arrow ➡️, then lift the bean hopper.
  4. Hold the upper burr handle and turn it counter-clockwise, then lift it vertically.

Installing Bean Hopper and Upper Burr

  1. Place the upper burr into position. Turn the handle clockwise until you hear a "click" sound; installation is complete.
  2. Ensure there are no coffee grounds or residue on the top of the conical burr. If there is, use the provided brush to clean it. ?️
  3. Align the unlock symbol ? on the bottom of the bean hopper with the arrow ➡️ on the grind size adjustment ring.
  4. With your other hand, turn the bean hopper clockwise until the lock symbol ? aligns with the arrow ➡️.

Notes:

  • To ensure the upper burr is installed correctly, clear any coffee grounds or residue from the lower burr before installation.
  • The grinder will not start if the bean hopper is not properly seated.

Control Panel

  • Cup Count Button (☕): Time range: 2.0-4.0 seconds.
  • Portafilter Button (☕): Time range: 5.0-20.0 seconds.
  • Increase Button (➕): Increases cup count or time (hold for rapid increase).
  • Decrease Button (➖): Decreases cup count or time (hold for rapid decrease).
  • DIY Button (⚙️): Time range: 3.0-30.0 seconds.
  • Power/Standby Button (⏻): Turns the unit on/off or puts it in standby mode.

Button Operation Instructions

  1. Add the appropriate amount of coffee beans to the bean hopper.
  2. Rotate the grind setting ring to select the desired coffee bean grind fineness.
  3. Cup Count Button (☕):
    • Upon connecting power, the buzzer will sound once, and all indicators will light up briefly for self-check.
    • The LED display will show "3.0" and flash, with the "Cup Count" button and its icon illuminated.
    • To adjust the cup count, press the ➕ or ➖ buttons. The range is 1-10 cups.
    • To start grinding, press the Power/Standby button (⏻). The timer on the screen will count down. Press any button to stop.
    • Press and hold for 3 seconds: The screen will flash, entering the cup count time adjustment setting. Each press of the ➕ or ➖ button adjusts the time by 0.1 seconds. After 3 flashes, the display stops flashing, and the new grinding time is set successfully.
  4. Portafilter Button (☕):
    • Insert the portafilter. The "Portafilter" button and its icon will illuminate. The screen will display the portafilter grinding time, defaulting to 7.0 seconds.
    • To start grinding, press the Power/Standby button (⏻). The timer on the screen will count down. Press the Power/Standby button (⏻) to stop.
    • After pressing the "Portafilter" button, the screen will flash, entering the portafilter time adjustment setting. Each press of the ➕ or ➖ button adjusts the time by 0.1 seconds. After 3 flashes, the display stops flashing, and the new grinding time is set successfully.
  5. DIY Grinding Button (⚙️):
    • After powering on, press the "DIY Grinding" button. The "DIY Grinding" button will illuminate, and the LED will display "3.0".
    • To start grinding, press the Power/Standby button (⏻). The timer on the screen will count down. Press the Power/Standby button (⏻) to stop.
    • After pressing the "DIY Grinding" button, the screen will flash, entering the DIY time adjustment setting. Press the ➕ button to adjust the grinding time. The default range is 3.0-30.0 seconds.
    • Each press of the ➕ or ➖ button adjusts the time by 0.1 seconds. After 3 flashes, the display stops flashing, and the new grinding time is set successfully.
  6. Portafilter and Cup Indicators: The portafilter indicator light ▀ illuminates when the portafilter holder is inserted. If the portafilter holder is not inserted, the light ? illuminates.
  7. Power/Standby Button (⏻):
    • After setting the grinding time, press the Power/Standby button (⏻) to start operation.
    • To stop mid-operation, press the Power/Standby button (⏻) or any other button to stop.
    • The screen will automatically turn off if there is no operation for over 3 minutes.

Coffee Grind Size Adjustment

  1. Place the coffee powder cup correctly.
  2. Open the bean hopper lid and add coffee beans. Close the lid. You can now adjust the coffee grind size.
  3. The coffee grinder offers 52 levels of grind adjustment. To adjust the grind fineness, rotate the bean hopper. Adjust from fine to coarse according to the type of coffee you are brewing.

Note: For more precise adjustment of the coffee grind fineness, it is recommended to rotate the bean hopper while the grinder is operating.

Maintenance and Cleaning ?

To maintain the coffee's aroma and prevent spoilage, empty the coffee grounds container after each use.

  • Always unplug the power cord before cleaning. ?
  • Do not immerse the grinder, power cord, or plug in water. ?
  • Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cleaners on the appliance.
  • Follow these steps to clean the internal burrs:

  2. Clean any remaining coffee beans from the bean hopper.
  3. Align the unlock symbol ? on the bottom of the bean hopper with the arrow ➡️ on the grind size adjustment ring.
  4. Install the bean hopper correctly.
  5. Install the outer burr. Turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
  6. Clean the outer burr with a brush. ?️
  7. Clean the inner burr with a brush. ?️
  8. Clean the interior of the main body.
  9. Clean the outlet.
  10. Install the outer burr. Turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
  11. Install the bean hopper.
  12. Lock the bean hopper.

Regular cleaning of the conical burrs not only maintains hygiene but also extends their lifespan.

Troubleshooting Guide ❓

Display Code Problem Description Troubleshooting Solution
E1 Bean hopper not present or not properly seated. Reinstall the bean hopper.
E2 Continuous operation exceeding 100 seconds, system protection; motor overheat protection. Unplug the appliance. Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before restarting.

Precautions ?

  • Freshly ground coffee is key to a rich and delicious coffee flavor.
  • Coffee flavor and strength can be adjusted to personal preference by changing coffee bean types, amounts, and grind fineness for your ideal taste.
  • It is best to use fresh coffee beans with a clearly marked roasting date.
  • Store coffee beans in a dark, cool, and dry environment.
  • If possible, use vacuum-sealed packaging.
  • Purchase coffee beans in small batches to minimize storage time; ideally, consume within one week of storage.
  • Once coffee beans are ground into powder, their aroma dissipates quickly. For the best brewing results, brew coffee immediately after grinding.
  • Do not store coffee beans in the bean hopper for extended periods.
  • When storing the appliance after use, operate it to grind any remaining beans and then clean it thoroughly.
  • Regularly clean the bean hopper and powder cup.
