Before 1st Use

Connecting Your Phone

- Connect plugs in corresponding sockets in the base station. Plug the telephone line into the telephone socket and insert the power plug into an electrical outlet.

Inserting Batteries

- Insert batteries in Handset. Before you start to use your telephone, charge batteries continuously for 15 hours. Only use the plug adapter supplied with the unit and rechargeable batteries with your phone.

  • 1. [OK/Menu] key
  • 2. [Back/Mute/Intercom] key
  • 3 & 4. [Navigation] keys
  • 5. [Hang-up/Exit] key
  • 6. [Recall/Flash] key - To access operator services*
  • 7. [Phonebook] key
  • 8. [Loudspeaker] key
  • 9. [Star] key - To lock / unlock keypad; toggle between external and internal calls
  • 10. [Talk] key
  • 11. [Paging] key - To locate handset / to start registration procedure

*Subject to subscription and availability of the service from the fixed line operator.

Display Icons

  • ? Indicates battery is fully charged.
  • ? Indicates battery is fully discharged.
  • ? Indicates that an external call is connected or held.
  • * Blinks when you have new missed calls*.
  • ? Displays when handsfree is activated.
  • ? Displays when ringer volume is turned off.
  • ? Indicates that the handset is registered and within range of the base station. Icon blinks when the handset is out of range or is searching for a base.

Settings

Set Language and Flash Time

To operate correctly on your network:

- Press [Navigate] or [Navigate] to select HS SETTINGS, then press [OK] or [OK] to select LANGUAGE, then press [OK] or [OK] to select your desired language, and finally press [OK] or [OK].

- Press [Navigate] or [Navigate] to select BS SETTINGS, then press [OK] or [OK] to select FLASH TIME, then press [OK] or [OK] to select SHORT / MEDIUM or LONG, and finally press [OK] or [OK].

Using the Phone

Making and Receiving Calls

  • Receive and end a call: [OK]
  • Make a call: [OK] either before or after dialing your number.
  • From redial list: [OK] or [OK].
  • From call log list*: [OK] or [OK].
  • From direct memories: long press on [KEY 1] or [KEY 2] or [KEY 3] in idle mode.
  • From phonebook: [OK] or [OK].
  • To activate/deactivate handsfree: [OK].

Phonebook Settings

Stores up to 20 entries.

  • To register in phonebook: [OK] or select [PHONEBOOK], then press [OK] or [OK] select [ADD], then press [OK] or [OK] enter contact name, then press [OK] or [OK] enter contact number, then press [OK] or [OK] select melody, and finally press [OK] or [OK].
  • To register direct memories in keys 1, 2 & 3: [OK] or select [HS SETTINGS], then press [OK] or [OK] select [DIRECT MEM], then press [OK] or [OK] select [KEY 1], [KEY 2] or [KEY 3], then press [OK] or [OK] edit or enter the number.

General Settings

This phone can be customized according to your preferences. To access the different possibilities press: [OK].

  • To customize handset (name, melody, language,...): [OK] or select [HS SETTINGS].

Troubleshooting

As a general rule, if a problem occurs, remove the batteries from all handsets for about 1 minute, then disconnect and reconnect the power supply to the base and reinstall the handset batteries.

Safety

This telephone is not designed for Emergency calls when the main power fails.

Do not use your telephone to notify a gas leak or other potential explosion hazard.

Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock.

Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical substances.

Your telephone must be located in a dry place away from hot, humid and direct sunlight conditions.

To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1 meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.
