Package Contents

The box typically includes the Dyson OnTrac headphones, a charging cable (USB-C), and a slimline case. Additional accessories may be purchased separately from www.dyson.com.

Download the MyDyson App

The MyDyson app is essential for controlling your Dyson OnTrac headphones. Download it from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account and add your device. The app provides enhanced features and updates.

Get to Know Your Headphones

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Toggle between modes by double-tapping the outer earcups.

Auto Pause/Play: Your headphones will automatically pause audio when removed and resume when worn.

Fit Adjustment: Adjust the headband for a comfortable fit. Ensure the earcups sit snugly around your ears.

Power Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on/off, or 5 seconds for pairing mode.

Battery Saver Mode: The headphones will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn them back on.

Intuitive Controls: Located on the right earcup, these allow control of music, volume, and voice assistant.

Comfortable Earcups: Ergonomically designed with a 13-degree tilt for a comfortable fit.

USB-C Charging: Use the included USB-C cable for charging.

Powering On and Pairing Your Headphones

Powering On: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The LED will turn white.

Pairing: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The LED will flash blue, indicating pairing mode. (Note: The LED will flash white and emit a tone before flashing blue; continue holding the button.)

Connecting via Bluetooth:

1. Open your mobile device's Bluetooth settings.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and select "Dyson OnTrac" to connect.

Battery and LED Behavior

Battery Life: Enjoy up to 55 hours of listening time with ANC. A 10-minute charge provides 2.5 hours of playback, and a 30-minute charge provides 9 hours.

LED Indicator (Left Earcup):

• Above 10% Charge: LED turns green.
• Below 10% Charge: LED flashes orange for 5 seconds.
• Auto Power Off: After 30 minutes of inactivity, the LED shows white.
• Charging: LED pulses orange while charging, turns solid green when fully charged, then fades off.

Bluetooth Connectivity:

• Discoverable: Blue LED – continuous pulse.
• Connected: Blue LED – pulse stops. A welcome tone is played.

Notifications:

• Dyson Support Assistance: Red LED – flashes for 5 seconds.
• Firmware Update: White LED – pulsing.

Audio Controls

Connect via Bluetooth or the travel adapter cable to play audio. Use the MyDyson app or the intuitive controls on the right earcup.

Play/Pause: Tap the center of the control.

Skip/Seek: Tap the control left or right to skip tracks. Press and hold to fast forward or rewind.

Volume: Tap the control up or down to adjust volume.

Voice Assistant: Press and hold the center of the control for 2 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant.

Phone Calls:

• Answer Call: Tap the control.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the control.
• End Call: Tap the control.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Modes

Use ANC to reduce background noise. Double-tap any outer earcup to switch between modes.

Isolation Mode: Provides maximum ANC to reduce ambient noise. This is the default setting.

Awareness Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings.

Travel Adapter (Sold Separately)

Connect the travel adapter to your in-flight entertainment system via the audio jack. The travel adapter will charge your Dyson OnTrac headphones only when used with the USB-C cable. Note: Audio controls will not function when the travel adapter is in use.

Warning: The dual-plug travel adapter is for audio jack connection only. Connecting it to a mains power socket may cause fire or electric shock.

Setting Up Your Headphones

Headband Adjustment: Adjust the headband for a comfortable fit.

Replacing Outer Covers: Twist the outer circular part counter-clockwise to remove. Align the replacement cover and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

Replacing Ear Cushions: Twist the ear cushion counter-clockwise to remove. Ensure you use the correct left (L) or right (R) cushion. Align the cushion's slots with the corresponding edges on the headband and twist clockwise until secured. For optimal performance, recalibrate your headphones via the MyDyson app under "Replace Accessories".

Cleaning Your Headphones

Outer Covers: Wipe any dust or debris from the earcup covers with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.

Ear Cushions and Headband: Wipe any dust or debris with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.
