Product Overview
The Pyle Pro PTA4 Stereo Power Amplifier provides the power and versatility needed for a professional sound system. Its wide frequency response makes it suitable for amplifying music or vocal program material. The front-located 3.5mm jack allows convenient connection of various MP3 devices. The MIC PAGER/MIXING function offers flexibility for paging or musical events, making it ideal for meeting halls, houses, restaurants, schools, stores, live bands, or offices.

Front Panel Controls:
The front panel features a comprehensive control center:
- 1. Blue LED Output Level Display: Indicates the output level.
- 2. Power On/Off and LED Indicator: The main power switch; the indicator lights when the amplifier is turned on.
- 3. CD/MP3 3.5mm AUX Input Jack (FRONT): Allows easy connection of computerized MP3 devices such as PCs, laptops, Walkmans, iPods, and cell phones.
- 4. 1/4" PHONE Jack: Accepts headphones with a 1/4" plug.
- 5. MIC Volume Control: Adjusts the volume of the connected microphone.
- 6. MASTER Volume Control: Controls the overall volume level, independent of the MIC volume.
- 7. BALANCE Control: Adjusts the sound balance between the left and right amplifier outputs.
- 8. BASS and TREBLE Controls: Allows boosting or attenuating bass and treble for desired sound.
- 9. Input Selector (AUX1/AUX2/CD/AUX/BT): Selects the desired input music source.
Rear Panel Connections:
The rear panel provides various input and output options:
- 10. Wireless BT Antenna: For Bluetooth connectivity.
- 11. AUX 1/AUX 2/CD RCA Inputs: Connect high-level audio sources like CD players, tape decks, tuners, camcorders, or VCRs.
- 12. REC RCA Output: Connect the amplifier to a tape deck for recording.
- 13. Push Type Speaker Terminals: Connect speaker wires directly to the amplifier. Speaker impedance can range from 4 to 8 Ohms for general stereo output, with a minimum total speaker impedance of 4 Ohms per channel in stereo mode.
- 14. Replaceable Power Fuse: Protects against surges and short circuits. If the amplifier turns off unexpectedly, check and replace the fuse with a 1.5-amp, 250-volt, fast-acting, 5x20mm fuse (not supplied).
- 15. 110/220 Voltage Selector: Selectable input voltage for 110V/60Hz (USA/Canada) or 220V/50Hz (European operation). Ensure the switch is in the correct position before operating to avoid damage.
- 16. 1/4" MIC Input Jack: Connect a microphone with a 1/4" plug.
- 17. Switchable MIC PAGER and MIXING Modes:
- PAGER Mode: Attenuates AUX 1/AUX 2/CD signals by -12dB, allowing MIC signal to override for paging (Auto Talkover).
- MIXING Mode: Allows AUX 1/AUX 2/CD and MIC signals to coexist simultaneously, suitable for karaoke events.
