The charger's supplied power must be at least 2W, required for the radio equipment, and up to 2.5W for maximum charging speed.
Disposal of Old Batteries and Electrical/Electronic Equipment
The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin on the product, battery, or packaging indicates that the product and battery should not be treated as household waste. For certain batteries, this symbol may be used in combination with a chemical symbol. The chemical symbol for lead (Pb) is added if the battery contains more than 0.004% lead. By ensuring correct disposal of these products and batteries, you help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health that could result from improper waste handling. Material recycling helps conserve natural resources.
For products requiring a permanent connection to a built-in battery for safety, performance, or data integrity reasons, the battery should only be replaced by qualified service personnel. For proper handling of such batteries, as well as electrical and electronic equipment, at the end of their lifespan, hand in these products at an appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. For all other batteries, refer to the section on how to safely remove the battery from the product. Hand in the battery at an appropriate collection point for the recycling of used batteries. For more detailed information on recycling this product or battery, contact your local government, household waste disposal service, or the store where you purchased this product or battery.
Charging the Product
Place the headset units into the charging case. Use a commercially available USB Type-C® cable and a USB AC adapter. Connect the USB AC adapter to the charging case using the USB Type-C cable, then connect the USB AC adapter to an AC outlet.
System Requirements for USB Charging
- USB AC adapter: Commercially available USB AC adapter that can output a current of at least 0.5 A (500 mA).
- USB cable: Commercially available USB Type-C® cable (USB standards compliant).
Safety Precautions
High volume can damage your hearing. Do not use the device while walking, driving a car, or cycling. This may cause traffic accidents. Do not use in hazardous areas unless ambient sounds can be heard.
If water or foreign objects enter the device, it may cause fire or electric shock. If water or foreign objects enter the device, immediately stop using it and contact the nearest Sony dealer. Be especially careful in the following situations:
- When using the device near a sink or liquid container.
- Be careful not to drop the device into a sink or a container filled with water.
- When using the device in rain or snow, or in humid environments.

If the earbud tips are not firmly attached, they may detach during use and remain in the ear. Ensure the earbud tips are properly attached before use.
Never connect the USB plug if the device or charging cable is wet. If the USB plug is connected while the device or charging cable is wet, liquid (tap water, seawater, soft drink, etc.) or foreign objects on the device or charging cable may cause a short circuit, leading to overheating or malfunction.
About BLUETOOTH® Communication
Microwaves emitted from a Bluetooth device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices. To prevent accidents, turn off this device and other Bluetooth devices in the following locations: hospitals, near priority seats on trains, in environments with flammable gases, near automatic doors, or fire alarms.
Notes on Wearing the Device
Since the earbuds fit tightly in the ear, forcefully pushing them in or quickly pulling them out may damage the eardrum. When wearing the earbuds, the speaker diaphragm may produce a clicking sound. This is not a malfunction.

Note on Static Electricity
If you use the device in dry air, you may experience discomfort due to static electricity accumulated in your body. This is not a device malfunction. To reduce this effect, we recommend wearing clothes made of natural materials that do not easily generate static electricity.
