Offline Translation Mode

This mode is functional without an internet connection.

1. Select your 'Mother tongue language' from the upper left icon and 'Foreign language' from the upper right icon.
2. Long press the 'Mother tongue input key' or 'Foreign language input key' to speak. The translator will automatically translate after you release the key.

Photo Translation Mode

Translate text captured in photos.

1. Tap the 'Photo translation' icon.
2. Select the original language for the photo and the target language in the top right.
3. Take a picture of the text. The translated text will appear after 3-5 seconds.
4. Tap 'Text' at the top to view the translation. Use the yellow or blue speaker icons to broadcast the language.

Notes:

• Ensure good image quality for accurate text detection.
• Try to capture text horizontally or vertically.
• Tap the image at the bottom left to delete it.

Recording Translation Mode

Translate spoken audio.

1. Tap the 'Recording' icon and then the '+' icon to select a translation mode (Original text, Original, or Translation).
2. Select the desired language in the top bar.
3. Tap the speaker button to start recording. The timer will begin, and text will appear on the screen. Tap 'Save recording' when finished.

Notes:

• Tap the 'Play icon' to listen to the recorded voice.
• Tap the 'Pencil icon' to clear recording files.
• Clear voice input leads to more accurate translations.

Simultaneous Interpretation

Translate speech in real-time and share with others.

1. Tap the 'Interpret' icon and then 'Enter'. Speech is converted to text and translated as you speak.
2. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using WeChat, Facebook, or Google to share the interpretation with others on their devices.

Notes:

• Requires a private network; does not support captive portal Wi-Fi (e.g., airport, public Wi-Fi).
• Participants must scan the QR code and enter the chat room, setting their name and language.
• In the chat room, speak by holding the 'Mother tongue input key'. Your language will be translated to others' native languages, and vice versa.

Mobile Group Chat

Create and join group chats for multilingual conversations.

1. Create a chat room by setting a name and selecting a language.
2. A QR code will be generated. Share this QR code with others to invite them to the chat room.
3. Participants need to set their name and language upon entering.
4. In the chat, speak in your native language by holding the 'Mother tongue input key'. Your speech will be automatically translated into the native language of other participants on the screen, and their speech will be translated into yours.

Notes:

• This function requires a private network and does not support secondary authentication Wi-Fi like airport or public Wi-Fi.
• Participants must scan the QR code shared via social media to join the chat room.

AI Assistant (ChatGPT)

Your personal smart assistant for various services including travel coaching, nutrition advice, life encyclopedias, writing assistance, and translation.

Input Mode

Translate text entered in the bottom bar. Currently supports English and Chinese.

Learning Mode

Practice pronunciation of translated words. Requires a WiFi connection.

SOS Mode

Provides emergency contact numbers for different countries.

Tool Mode

Includes Dictionary, Clock, and Exchange Rate functionalities.

Favorites Mode

Save frequently reviewed words, sentences, or videos.

Settings Mode

Configure WiFi settings, brightness, system language, speed, sound, front camera, time zone, input method, date and time, and software updates.

Bluetooth

Enable Bluetooth to connect to devices for expanded functionalities.
