Step 9: Wiring Connections
Important ESD Warning: In order to prevent Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage, the W/R jack [connector] must be connected before any connection is made to the car's wiring.
Connect the wiring harness as follows:
- 1. To Wired Radio Remote socket (W/R) [connector].
- 2. Optional reverse camera connection for CA-BC-6V.001 [component].
- 3. To reverse signal wire (typically purple wire on Pioneer power cable [cable]).
- 4. To parking signal wire (typically green wire on Pioneer power cable [cable]).
- 5. To Pioneer ISO power connector [connector].
- 6. To Pioneer FM/AM antenna input [connector].
- 7. To car antenna connector [connector].
- 8. To car main connector [connector].
- 9. ACC power connector [connector]. Verify the pinout of the OEM connector [connector] before connecting.
- 10. For cars equipped with a voice command button on the steering wheel [feature].
